The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests September 24 – October 8. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Sheriff’s Department 

October 1

Richard Burgess Kinsey, 30, of  Cullowhee, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer, injury to personal property, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of burglary tools, conspire to commit felony larceny, felony larceny, possession of stolen goods/property, first degree trespassing enter/remain. A secured bond of $25,000 bond was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest. 

October 2

David Duane Ledford, 43, of Franklin, was charged with probation violation for felony. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Jonathan A. Taylor made the arrest. 

October 3

Brenda Kaye Camp, 32, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $1,500 made the arrest. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest. 

October 4

Daniel Mark Camp, 34, of Franklin., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

October 5

Lindsey Alexa Gaby, 25, of Highlands, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

October 6

Jesus Alberto Reyes, 21, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. No bond was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

October 7

Jesse Lonnie Harkins, 28, of Cullowhee, was charged with probation violation, failure to appear for defraud drug/alcohol test, possession/receiving stole property, fictitious information to an officer, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $26,000 was set. David F. Head made the arrest. 

Michael Shayn Macko, 28, of Cullowhee, was charged with all other offenses. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.  

October 8

Tanner Ray White, 35, of Franklin, was charged with fictitious information to officer, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.  

George Henry Aguilar Jr., 49, of Franklin, was charged with contempt of court failure to appear. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

Franklin Police Department

September 24

Jeremy Cole Sanders, 26, of Garden Lane, was issued a warrant for arrest for larceny. A secured bond of $500 was set. Randy S. Dula made the arrest. 

Matthew Dale Burgess, 27, of Chavis Rd., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

September 28

Cristela Matias-Camona, 35, of Heartland Lane, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. 

September 29

Alex Matthew Anderson, 26, of W. Main St., was charged with injury to personal property, drunk and disorderly, resisting a public officer. No bond was set. 

October 1

Saundra Lee Henry, 63, of Courtney Lane, was charged with bad checks. An Unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest. 

October 3

Christine Nicole Hurst, 27, of E. Main St., was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. No bond was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest. 

October 5

Megan Leigha Alford, 32, of Gibson Cove Rd., was charged with flee to elude, driving while license revoked, fail to burn headlamps, failure to dim headlamps, possession of stolen goods, felony for possession of a schedule II controlled substance, simple possession of a IV controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Randy S. Dula made the arrest. 

Melba Ann Keener, 45, of Oakforest Cottages, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest. 

Ellis Gran Roach, 27, of Second St., was charged wtih trespass of real property. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Christy M. Evans made the arrest. 

October 6

Michael Anthony Rowland Jr., 17, of Sycamore Dr., was charged with flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle. An unsecured bond of $500 was set.  A. C. Stahl made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

October 1

Mykasha Lashea Montgomery, 28, of Sunflower Ridge, Whittier, was charged with simple assault, child abuse non-assaultive. No bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest. 

Steven Elliott Shropshire, 39, of Sunflower Ridge, was charged with child abuse non-assaultive, assault on a female. No bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest. 

Lisa Ann Rice, 51, of Painter St., was charged with failure to appear for communicating threats. A $500 bond was set. William S. Collins made the arrest. 

Lisa Ann Plaster, 51, of Cameron Dr., Waynesville, was charged with failure to appear for possessing/concealing stolen property, motor vehicle theft truck, motor vehicle theft, speeding/driving while intoxicated, unauthorized use of motor vehicle. No bond was set. William S. Collins made the arrest. 

Ronald Wayne McCorrister, 29, of Augusta Dr., was charged with larceny, obtaining property by false pretense. A $5,000 bond was set. Parrish W. Young made the arrest. 

October 2

Mackenzie Lee Mathis, 26, of Redwing Vista, Whittier, was charged with conspiracy, larceny. A $1,000 bond was set. James L. Clawson made the arrest. 

Alexandrea Nichole Carpenter, 21, of Redwing Vista, Whittier, was charged with conspiracy, larceny. A $1,000 bond was set. Jason L Clawson made the arrest. 

October 3

April Dawn Messick, 35, of Mosaic Lane, was charged with failure to heed blue light or siren, speeding, drive left of center, driving while license revoked, possession of stolen vehicle, conspiracy to commit a felony, larceny of a motor vehicle. A $5,000 bond was set. Scottie R. Holder made the arrest. 

Matthias Clell Crowe, 21, of Crowes Nest Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia, consume alcohol by 19/20 year old, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A $3,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

Christy Michelle Goodson, 26, of Laser Dr., was charged with child abuse. A $1,500 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

William Joseph Conner, 27, of Oak Hill Dr., was charged with driving while license revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $5,000 bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest. 

October 4

Michael Dustin Brooks, 33, of Mosaic Lane, was charged with conspiracy to commit felony larceny. A $15,000 bond was set. Maleah N. Mathis made the arrest. 

Harry Hubbard Youndblood, 74, of Walbash, was charged with stalking, trespassing. A $1,000 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Jeramiah Lyndon Biddix, 25, of Pumpkintown Rd., was charged with failure to appear for larceny of a dog, second degree trespass, driving while intoxicated. A $19,000 bond was set. Megan L Rhinehart made the arrest.  

Richard Travis Akerss, 37, of Walter Ashe Rd., was issued a true bill of indictment of simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance. A $2,500 bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest. 

 

October 5

Dennis Woodrow Shelton, 29, of Frosty Ridge Rd., Cherokee, was charged with felony probation violation. A $10,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest. 

Alfredo Juarez, 34, of Windchime Lane, Cashiers, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest. 

Johnnie Ray Arch, 45, of Savannah Dr., was charged with trespassing, communicating threats, assaut on a female. A $2,500 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

October 7

Scott Bassett, 37, of Deer Park Loop, Spruce Pine, was charged with assault on a female, indecent liberties with a child. A $20,000 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.
