The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests August 4 – 13. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County 

Sheriff’s Department 

August 7

Dakota Justice,  16, of Franklin, was charged with felonious larceny, larceny of a firearm, misdemeanor larceny, safecracking. No bond was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

August 8

Travis James Gregg, 41, of Otto, was issued a governors fugitive warrant. No bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.  

August 9

Jason Randall Westover, 40, of Lakeland, Fla., was charged with resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $750 was set. David F. Head made the arrest. 

August 10

Jason Brett Stone, 50, of Charlotte, was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting, removal of component. A secured bond of $18,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

August 13

Theodore McKinley Bateman, 50, of Andrews, was charged with driving while intoxicated for alcohol, possession of an open container of alcohol. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest. 

Albert Steven Kerr, 48, of Topton, was charged with failure to appear, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $6,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

Franklin Police Department

August 9

Carmelita May Pike, 22, of Bluebird Heights Rd., Otto, was charged with domestic criminal trepass, injury to personal property, resist a public officer. No bond was set. Devin E. Holland made the arrest. 

Joshua Tyler Watts, 23, of N. Womack St., was charged with simple assault, assault on a female. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Laurie C. Beegle made the arrest. 

Michelle Irene Wise, 41, of Roller Mill Rd., was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. Laurie C. Beegle made the arrest.

Gene Siler Passmore II, 36, of Saunders Rd., was charged with resisting a public officer, fictitious information to an officer. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. M.A. Bingham made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

August 4

Richard Lee Wright, 43, of Happy Hollow, was charged with interfering with emergency communications. A $150 bond was set. Megan L. Rhinehart made the arrest.  

August 5

Rena Janet Wachacha, 62, of Olivet Church Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for no operators license, driving while impaired. A $2,000 bond was set. Scottie R. Holder made the arrest.  

Alfredo Jurez, 34, of Windchime Lane, Cashiers, was charged with failure to appear for breaking  and entering to terrorize. A $7,500 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Samuel Shane Cook, 46, of Lewis Cove Rd., Whittier, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A $2,500 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

Ashley Myles Smith, 27, of Cope Creek Rd., was charged with assault on a female.  A $1,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

Nicole Dominique Bradley, 25, of Old #4 Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia. A $3,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest

August 6

Melvin Anthony Driver, 20, of Alfred West Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A $500 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest. 

Robert David Caron, 60, of Walnut St., Cary, was charged with failure to appear for intoxicated and disruptive, second degree trespass. A $600 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest. 

Kyle Shane Lossiah, 30, of Bowman Dr., Cherokee, was charged with felony probation violation. A $10,000 bond was set. Parrish W. Young made the arrest. 

Tonia Marie Hoyle, 27, of E. Sylva Circle, was charged with violation of a court order, shoplifting concealment of goods.  A $500 bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest.

Gabe William Frady, 19, of Moon Shadow Mountain, Cullowhee, was charged with consume alcohol by 19/20 year old, defrauding innkeeper, consume malt beverage while 19/20. No bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest. 

Brandon H. Evans, 38, of. Cullowhee Mountain Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with child support purge. A $1,500 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest. 

Clifford Nathaniel Warren, 40, of Howards Hollow Rd., Canton, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Parrish W. Young made the arrest. 

Donna Smith Cormier, 48, of Weyhutta Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $2,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

Jonathan Michael Freeman, 29, of Pigeon Lane, was charged with fraud for obtaining money/property by false pretense, larceny of property or goods value more than $1,000. A $10,000 bond was set. Dray E. Holland made the arrest. 

Charles Michael Nash, 30, of Union Hill Rd., Whittier, was charged with driver allow motor vehicle with no registration, no liability insurance, fictitious/altered title registration card/tag, carrying a concealed weapon, driving while license revoked. A $750 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest. 

Jess Harvey Cagle, 45, of Allens Branch, was charged with larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering non forcible. A $7,500 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Cory Robert Pressley, 37, of North Ridge Rd., Glenville, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked, assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a controlled substance on jail premises. A $20,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Kenkel made the arrest.

Bryan Lewis Brooks, 44, of Grindstone Knob, Whittier, was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. A $5,000 bond was set. Rollie L. James III made the arrest. 

Gregory Ryan Lockhart, 25, of Moose Lodge Rd., was charged with possession of burglary tools, conspire to commit break and enter and larceny, possessing and concealing stolen property, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering forcible. A $25,000 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Paula Kidd, 65, of Old Soco Rd., Whittier, was charged with violate a civil contempt order. A $50 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Adam Michael Diaz, 29, of Cullowhee, was charged with driving while license revoked impaired revocation, fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag. A $1,000 bond was set. Dray E. Holland made the arrest. 

August 10 

Megan Elizabeth Bigham, 26, of Cornelious Ashe Rd., Whittier, was charged with larceny. No bond was set. Parrish W. Young made the arrest. 

Edwin Rene Diaz, 41, of Tilly Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest.

Haley Michelle Shook,  22, of Wayhutta Rd., Tuckaseegee, was charged with failure to appear for simple affray. A $500 bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest. 

Heather Marie Walsh, 32, of Nowhere Dr., was charged with school attendance law violation, failure to appear for speeding and reckless driving. A $3,000 bond was set. Dray E. Holland made the arrest. 

August 11

Hiram Lee Butler, 40, Union Hill Rd., Whitter, was charged with communicating threats, assault on a female. No bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest. 

Lumarie Soto, 38, of Baynard Blvd., Wilmington, Del., was charged with failure to appear for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, maintaining a place for prostitution. A $10,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest. 

Tobias Nathaniel Dillard, 23, of Clock Work Lane, was charged with child support purge arrest order. A $652 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest. 

Martin Gary Noone, 54, of Mollybe Lane, Whittier, was issued an order for arrest for show cause hearing. A $5,000 bond was set. Kyle P. Efird made the arrest. 

August 12

Robert Kirkland Vanda-Brake, 30, of Bunk Hill Rd., was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked, speeding. A $1,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest. 

Christophe Buddy Fisher, 22, of Olivine Place, was charged with indecent liberties with a child, statutory rape of a child by an adult. A $500,000. bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.
