mcso_logoThe Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests February 14 – 21. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

February 16

  • Tyler Elden Deats, 20, was charged with failure to pay child support. A $561 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.
  • February 17
  • Ryan Marcus Sharrett, 31, was charge with failure to pay child support. A $12,549 bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

February 18

  • Presley Nicole Cochran, 22, was charged with simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, probation violations. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.
  • Joseph Allen Cook, 27, was charged with simple assault. A secured bond of $750 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest.
  • Keith Andrew Basty, 27, was charged with felony larceny, possession of stole goods/property, obtaining property by false pretense, possession of a firearm by a felon, resisting a public officer, injury to personal property.  A secured bond of $35,000 was set. Kenneth J. Adams made the arrest.

February 19

  • Nina Marie Junaluska, 32, was charged with failure to appear for release order for driving while intoxicated level 5. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest.
  • Martin Allen Brink, 44, was charged with communicating threats. No bond was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest.
  • Keith Andrew Basty, 27, was charged with drug violations for equipment/paraphernalia. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Matthew T. Breedlove made the arrest.
  • Chandler Reed Stanley, 21, was charged with breaking coin/currency machine, misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods/property, injury to personal property, aid and abetting larceny, possession of stolen goods/property, breaking coin/currency machine, misdemeanor larceny, injury to personal property.  A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.
  • Brodie Lee Hamilton, 30, was charged with failure to appear for no motorcycle endorsement, driving/allow motor vehicle no operator license. A secured bond of $750 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.
  • Dustin Jake Cabe, 29, was charged with breaking coin/currency machine, larceny, possession of stolen goods/property, injury to personal property, break coin/currency machine, misdemeanor larceny, attempted larceny, injury to personal property, possession of stolen good/property,  breaking coin/currency machine, misdemeanor larceny, injury to personal property.  A secured bond of $30,000 was set.   • Michael Shannon Gibson, 36, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Matthew T. Breedlove made the arrest.

February 20

  • Joshua Lawrence Burr, 34, was charged with domestic violence protection order violation, resisting a public officer. No bond was set. Mike langley Sr. made the arrest.
  • Daniel Edward William Stanfield, 22, was charged with breaking coin/currency machine, misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods/property.  A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Mike langley Sr. made the arrest.
  • Danny Lee Thomas Jr., 24, was charged with assault on a female. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Blake A Buchanan made the arrest.
  • Brain Charles Connallon, 31, was charged with identity theft, obtaining property by false pretense, possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

February 21

  • Peter Mario Colaianni, 57, was charged with misdemeanor larceny, injury to real property. A $2,000 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.
  • Kyle Zachary-Shaye Johnson, 25, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, drug violations for equipment/paraphernalia. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Matthew T. Breedlove made the arrest.

Franklin Police Department

February 15

  • Seanna Winifred Randolph, 32, of Sylva, was charged with intoxicated and disruptive. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. Matt G. Pellicer made the arrest.

February 16

  • Michael Lee Cooper, 52, of Trotter Trail, Clarksville, Ga., was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear for fugitive warrant, driving while license revoked, littering. A secured bond of $53,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.
  • Christina Melissa Ann Phillips, 25, of Shiver Phillips Dr., was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance on prison/jail premises, larceny from the person, assault and battery.  A secured bond of $7,500 was set. February 20

  • Luis Marcelo Huayamave, 40, of Riverbend Rd., was charged with simple assault, child abuse, assault on a female, child support.  No bond was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.
  • Chasity Marie Wike Chavis, 33, of Harper Ln., was charged with simple physical assault, possession of marijuana. A $2,000 bond was set. Justin M. Norman made the arrest.
  • Charles Daniel Medlock, 20, of Courson View Rd., was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. February 21

  • Eugene Edward Lamb, 49, of Olive Hill Rd., was charged with no operators license, flee/elude arrest, fail to heed blue light. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest.

February 14

  • Josean Cyristmas Kinard, 30, of Ledbetter Rd., Rutherfordton, was charged with alter/steal/destruct criminal evidence, resisting a public officer, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute.   • Amanda Lee Shattuck, 34, of Rich Dr., Whittier, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, larceny of chose in action, true bill robbery with a dangerous weapon. A $50,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.
  • Richard Steven Willis, 32, of Losegoals Inn, Macon, was charged with no insurance, driving with no registration, order for arrest for driving while license revoked, domestic crime trespass. A $6,000 bond was set. Daniel B. Wellmon  made the arrest.
  • Maricela Consuela Sanchez, 24, of Big Witch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of stolen goods/property, obtaining property by false pretense. A $30,000 bond was set. Stephen B. Watson made the arrest.
  • Cameron Matthew Bennett, 27, of Edgewater Rd., Cullowhee, was charge with drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, resist/obstruct/delay. A $6,000 bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest.
  • Jennifer Kovacs Larocca, 28, of Edgewater Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with identity theft. A $15,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

  • Keegan Dee Sarchett, 21, of Beauvista Dr., Charlotte, was charged with resisting a public officer. A $1,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

  • Brian Elliott Teesateskie, 40, of Massey Branch Rd., Robbinsville, was charged with failure to appear for maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine.
