The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests July 31 – August 6. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

July 31

Daniel L. Bartram, 57, of Highlands, was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest.

August 1

Bruce Zachary McDonald, 19, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and or entering, larceny after break/enter, possessing stolen goods/property, contributing to delinquency of a juvenile, contributing to delinquency of a juvenile. A $6,000 bond was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest.

August 2

Christopher Shawn Ledford, 38, of Franklin, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. No bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Willie Eldon Bates, 68, of Franklin, was charged with driving while license revoked, fictitious/canceled/revoked registration card/tag. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Damian Quin Dutton, 21, of Franklin was charged with probation violation for out of county, defrauding drug/alcohol screen test.

Anthony Joseph Rodriguez, 38, of Kissimmee, Fla., was charged with fugitive out of state for felony. No bond was set. Joshua D. Stewart made the arrest.

August 3

Shaunna Nichole Rivas, 28, of Highlands, was charged with contempt of court perjury, court violations. A $1,500 bond was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest.

Ryan Mamuel Mira, 34, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and/or entering, larceny after break/enter, possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

August 4

Jared Marcus Jones, 27, of Sylva, was charged with larceny, obtaining money/property by false pretense, possessing stolen property. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest.

August 5

Timothy Jordan Brown, 28, of Franklin, was charged with felony larceny. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

August 6

Javier Mancilla Mendoza, 18, of Franklin, was charged with first degree trespassing enter/remain, breaking or entering. A secured bond of $750 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

Jeremy Edward Stepp, 25, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $7,500 was set. Thomas Tenhagen made the arrest.

Patricia Anne Geiger, 36, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for financial card fraud, misdemeanor larceny, misdemeanor probation violation, obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond of $41,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Kari Huskey Conard, 40, of Franklin, was charged with aid/abet larceny. A secured bond of $1,000 made the arrest. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

July 31

Paul Wayne Maynard Jr., 36, of McCall Circle, was charged with larceny, criminal damage to property for vandalism. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Dwayne S. Cabe made the arrest.

August 3

Michael Joseph Monteith, 29, of Fox Ridge Circle, was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering, possession of stolen property. A secured bond of $12,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

August 4

Ronald Allen Smith, 66, of Orchard View Dr., was charged with communicating threats, escape from custody or resist arrest. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Timothy J. Lynn made the arrest.

August 5

Mitchell Lee Adams, 36, of Courtney Ln., was charged with criminal damage to property for vandalism. An unsecured bond of $350 was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest.

Chance Dakota Holland, 17, of McCoy Hill Rd., was charged with disorderly conduct. An unsecured bond of $400 was set. Laurie C. Beegle made the arrest.

August 6

Newman Ralph Sigman Jr., 53, of Bryson City Rd., was charged with arson. A secured bond of $65,000 was set. Mark J. Foster made the arrest.

July 31

Charles Nicholas Zammit,  27, of Oak Ridge Dr., Warner-Robbins, Ga., was charged escape from custody or resist arrest, fugitive. A $1,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

Stacy Crystal Dempsey, 34, of Drift Wood Rd., Warner-Robbins, Ga., was charged with drug violations for equipment/paraphernalia for possessing/concealing, fugitive. A $1,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

Carlos Grandos, 25, of Blackhawk Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $2,500 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

David William Smith, 29, of Mexican Dr., Whittier, was charged with reckless driving to endanger. A $500 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Rogelio Torres Rivera, 37, of Spike Dr., Glenville, was charged with failure to appear for possession/display altered/fictitious/revoked drivers license, failure to wear seatbelt for driver, fictitious/altered/ title/registration card/tag, expired registration card/tag, operate vehicle with no insurance, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, issued a true bill of indictment for indecent liberties with a child. A $45,000 bond was set. Ernest A. Scherman III made the arrest.

August 1

Andre Johannes Rostenberg, 75, of Fort Wilderness Campground, Whittier, was charged with breaking and entering non forcible. A $1,500 bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest.

Lisa Sabbarth Tucci-Caselli, 49, of River Bend Rd., was charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a scheduled II controlled substance. A $20,000 bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest.

August 2

Michael Roy Driver, 31, of Snyder Circle, Robbinsville, was charged with failure to appear for disorderly conduct, misdemeanor larceny. A $1,500 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Gabriel Isaac Baumgarner, 35, of Cashiers, was charged with simple assault, possession of stolen firearm. A $6,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Jordan Leigh Wolfe, 22, of Keener Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $500 bond was set. Austin R. Holland made the arrest.

Suzanne Marie Tripp, 55, of Harrison Ave., Franklin, was charged with simple physical assault. No bond was set. Jesse L. Aiken made the arrest.

Ricky Lee Hopkins, 28, of Ledbetter Ln., Franklin, was charged with failure to appear, criminal damage property for vandalism, possessing/concealing stolen property, larceny from outside residence. A $31,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

August 3

Carolyn Elizabeth Keck Loftis, 27, of Nakoma Place, Whittier, was charged with larceny. A $500 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest.

Katie Melissa Hawkins, 28, of Camebridge Ave., Greenville, S.C., was charged with failure to wear seat belt for driver, alter/steal/destroy criminal evidence, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule I controlled substance. A $15,000 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest.

Kiera Price Galindo, 34, of Sylva, was charged with failure to wear seat belt for front seat, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana 1/2 to 1 1/2 oz, possession of a schedule I controlled substance. A $12,000 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest.

Daniel Ward Owen, 32, of Rainbo Dr., was charged with resist/obstruct/delay, failure to appear. A $2,500 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

Henry Whiperwil Mahsetky, 35, of Big Cove Rd., Cherokee, was charged with operating a vehicle with no insurance. A $2,500 bond was set. Jesse L. Aiken made the arrest.

August 5

Antonio Lamont Smith, 45, of Hornbuckle, Cherokee, was charged with contempt of court, failure to appear for driving while license revoked not impaired. A $500 bond was set. Rollie L. James III made the arrest.

Efren Zepeda-Zepeda, 54, of Hospital Rd., was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked not impaired. A $500 bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest.
