Arrests for April 12, 2018

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests March 30 – April 9. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

April 3

Tawny Michelle Perez, 26, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault, interfering with emergency communications. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. David F. Head made the arrest. 

April 4

Jeremy Cole Sanders, 25, of Franklin, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Anthony W. Momphard made the arrest. 

Eugenio Prisciliano Rios Altamirano, 25, of Franklin, was charged with no operators license. A secured bond of $250 was set. David Blanton made the arrest. 

Brock Eugene McGilvery, 21, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Anthony W. Momphard made the arrest. 

Deja F. McGilvery, 18, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A $3,000 bond was set. Anthony W. Momphard made the arrest. 

April 6

Khira Channing Posey, 30, of Franklin, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation, violation of court order. No bond was set. Tracy Platt made the arrest.

Ricardo Altamirano Rios, 30, of Franklin, was charged with no operators license. A secured bond of $240 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.  

Dallas Giles Dishman, 25, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Anthony W. Momphard made the arrest. 

April 7

John Henry Tyte, 27, of Franklin, was charged with communicating threats. No bond was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

April 8

John Wayne Darnell, 56, of Clayton, Ga., was charged with drug violations. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

Heather Lynn Crehore, 30, of Otto, was charged with assault on a child under 12, child abuse. A $5,000 bond was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

April 9

Joseph Dills, 61, of Franklin, was charged with protective order violation. A secured bond was set. Anthony W. Momphard made the arrest. 

Gerald Wayne Shope, 57, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear, issued a true bill of indictment.  A secured bond of $135,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

March 30

Alejandro F. Garcia, 21, of Forest Ave., was charged with failure to appear for driving while intoxicated, speeding, possession of a controlled substance on prison/jail premises. A secured bond of $22,500 was set. Tony E. Ashe made the arrest. 

Austin Henry Posey, 22, of Lyle Knob Rd., was issued a warrant for arrest for felony larceny from person. A secured bon of $7,000 was set. Randy S. Dula made the arrest.

Kenneth Kristopher Knight, 32, of Mica City Rd., was issued an order for arrest for felony probation violation, driving while license revoked, rear lamp violation. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Randy S. Dula made the arrest.  

Charles Christopher Tallent, 31, of Zachary Rd., Highlands, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest. 

April 1

Matthew Douglas Rowe, 30, 141 Hammock Dr., Cullowhee, was charged with possession heroin, drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest. 

April 5

Raul Ramon Hermida, 31, of Timbuktu Rd., Sylva, was charged with assault inflicting serious injury. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Laurie C. Beegle made the arrest. 

Carlos Omar Luna-Medina, 34, of Summit Hill Dr., was charged with driving while license revoked, failure to appear. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Randy S. Dula made the arrest. 

Jeremiah Akeem Currence, 26, of Kennedy St., Clover, S.C., was charged with motor vehicle theft. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Dwayne S. Cabe made the arrest. 

April 7

Joshua Adam Galbreath, 37, of West Windsor St., Westminster, S.C., was charge with possession of a firearm by a felon. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Matt G. Pellicer made the arrest. 

April 8

Jennifer Lynn Higdon, 36, of Teem Hollow, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. A. C. Stahl made the arrest. 

Kimberly Danielle Lee, 28, of Bear Ridge Rd., was charged with failure to appear, second degree trespassing, A secured bond of $10,250 was set. A. C. Stahl made the arrest.

April 2

Jamie Dale Kent, 36, of Wayehutta Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest. 

David Christain Griffith, 39, of Blind Side Lane, Cashiers, was charged with failure to appear for obtaining property by false pretense. A $30,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest. 

Gail Louise Wyse, 48, of Golden Lane, Whittier, was charged with larceny by an employee, fraud for obtaining money/property by false pretense, forgery of instrument. A $330,000 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest. 

Lacy Normand, 22, of Oak Hill Rd., was charged with  failure to appear for carrying a concealed gun, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of stolen property, obtaining property by false pretense, attempted to obtain property by false pretense, possession of counterfeit instrument/currency. A $25,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest. 

Anthony Caleb Nicholson, 29, of US 74 East, was charged with fraud for obtaining money/property by false pretense. A $10,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Robert James Logan, 32, of Thorpe Dr., Tuckasegee, was charged with being a habitual felon. A $50,000 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest. 

April 3

Carmen L. Welch, 52, of Waterview Dr., Cullowhwee, was charged with failure to appear for worthless check. A $1,500 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest. 

Thomas Glenn Palmer, 35, of Norman Lane, Tignall, Ga., was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapons, possession of stolen goods/property, Larceny after break/enter, first degree burglary, possession of stole firearm, larceny of a firearm, felony possession of firearm by felon, first degree murder. April 4

Robert Paul Warman, 63, of Nature View Lane, was charged with third degree sex exploit a minor, second degree sex exploit a minor. A $30,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest. 

Victor Gregory Stephens, 22, of Cope Creek Rd., was charged with breaking and entering of a motor vehicle non forcible, drug violations for possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possessing/concealing stolen property, larceny from out side residence. A $10,000 bond was set. 

Robert Justin Steele, 31, of East Hall Heights, was charged with possession of stolen property, larceny for shoplifting. A $2,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

Calvin Ray Bradley, 36, of Big Cove Rd., Cherokee, was charged with drunk and disruptive, trespassing. A $200 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.  

April 5

Ricky Jordan McCall, 24, of Dober Knob Trace, Otto, was charged with violation of domestic violence protective order. No bond was set. Brandon D. Hooper made the arrest. 

Blake Michael Wilson, 17, of Clayton Rd., was charged with communicating threats. A $500 bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest. 

David Warren Hooper, 52, of Hammock Dr., Cullowhee, was charged with child support purge. A $601 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest. 

Shawna Kimberly Wallace, 41, of Ferguson Rd., was charged with probation violation. A $5,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

 

April 6

Layne Michael Kanash, 41, of Dillsboro Rd., was charged with misuse of 911 system. A $500 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

Austin Moody Terril Rattler,  23, of, Webster Rd., was charged with possessing/concealing stolen property, larceny. No bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest. 

April 7

Cory Robert Pressley, 36, of North Ridge Rd., Glenville, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, assault on a female, possession of a schedule II controlled substance on jail premises. A $5,000 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest. 

April 8

Jorge Armando Alvarez Guzman, 39, of Honor Court, Glenville, was issued an order for arrest for driving while license revoked. A $3,000 bond was set. Dray E. Holland made the arrest. 

Samantha Dion Youngdeer, 27, of Nettie Pheasant Rd., Cherokee, was charged with expired registration card/tag, failure to appear for possession/display/altered/fictitious/revoked/drivers license, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation. No bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest. 

James David Smith, 28, of Smith Rd., Cherokee, was charged with financial card fraud, identity theft, financial card fraud. A $45,000 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest.  

Joseph Lee Gaskin, 35, of Whitewood Bend, Cullowhee, was charged with fugitive from another state. A $15,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.
