Arrests for August 30, 2018

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests August  19 – 28. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

August 21

Daniel Travis Burch, 45, of Franklin, was charged with child support enforcement contempt. A bond was set. Jonathan Philips made the arrest. 

Tyler Elden Deats, 22, of Franklin, was charged with child support enforcement for contempt. A bond was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

August 22

Caleb Oconner, 17. of Franklin, was charged with simple assault. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Tracy Platt made the arrest. 

Amanda Leigh Grace, 25, of Waynesville, was charged with child support enforcement contempt. A secured bond of $1,221 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest. 

Vanessa Lynnette Griffith, 20, of Franklin, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $500 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

Travis Aron Zepeda, 22, of Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear, parole and probation violations, A secured bond of $3,500 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.  

Diana Pauline Queen, 45, of Whittier, was charged with parole and probation violations, larceny, fictitious information to officer, failure to appear. A secured bond of $109,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.  

August 24

Amber Nicole Stover, 31, of Whittier, was charged with simple physical assault. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest.  

August 25

Juanita Marie Cleveland, 43, of Franklin, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, communicating threats. A secured bond of $2,000 was set.  Audrey Parrish made the arrest. 

Jason Robert Mock, 35, of Franklin, was charged with purchase firearm violation domestic order. No bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

Cherita Louise Foster, 51, of Mountain City, Ga., was charged with assault. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest. 

Jessica Lynn Hodges, 27, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest. 

August 26

Caleb Augustus Cochran, 26, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault. A secured bond of $1,000 was set.  Jonathan A. Taylor made the arrest. 

August 27

Bryan Draven Burch, 20, of Franklin, was charged with probation. No bond was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest.

Robert Nathaniel Conard, 32, of Waynesville, was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor probation violation for out of county, assault on a female, assault on another person, sexual battery. A secured bond of $90,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrests.  

August 28

Tawny Michelle Perez, 26, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz., possession of drug paraphernalia,  possession of marijuana paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Jose Luis Garcia-Hueta, 30, of Dillard, Ga., was charged with driving while intoxicated for alcohol and/or drugs. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Jonathan A. Taylor made the arrest.

August 22

Amanda Sue Ortiz, 32, of Hannah Mountain Rd., Otto, was charged with larceny by an employee, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a controlled substance in jail. A secured bond of $6,000 was set. Timothy J. Lynn made the arrest.

August 19

Adrianne Danelle Locust, 20, of Lydia Squirrel Rd., Whittier, was charged with probation violation, drug violations for paraphernalia possession, dangerous drugs, probation violation. A $15,000 bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest. 

Elizabeth Serena George, 20, of Stillhouse Branch Rd., Bryson City, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of methamphetamine, conspire to sell methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine. A $25,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest.

Charles Ray Tolley, 44, of Riverbend Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with assault on a female. A $1,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest. 

Averi Celeste Norris, 19, of Acrewood Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with conspire to break and enter a building felony larceny, attempted break or enter a building. A $5,000 bond was set. Kyle P. Efird made the arrest. 

Richard Burgess Kinsey, 30, of Pine Creek Rd., Cullowhee was charged with conspire to break and enter a building, breaking or entering a building. No bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest. 

Raymond Dakota Whitecotton, 26, of Kamama Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting concealment of goods. A $250 bond was set. Kyle P. Efird made the arrest. 

Kenneth Lee Tramper,  39, of Lee Bird Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for failure to wear seatbelt, resisting a public officer. A $1,000 bond was set. Charles B. Hooper made the arrest. 

August 21

Diserrae Marie Obregon, 28, of University Heights Rd., Sylva, was charged with failure to appear for simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, shoplifting concealment of goods. A $10,000 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest. 

Clay Silas Tanner Jones, 25, Knotty Oak Dr., was charged with assault inflicting serious bodily injury. No bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest.

Gregory Jack Hevle,  75, of Marker Pine Lane, Whittier, was charge with failure to store firearm to protect a minor. A $1,000 bond was set. John A. Beegle Jr. made the arrest.

Trent Allen Bentivogli, 27, of Little Mountain Rd., Waynesville, was charged with failures to appear for removal of theft tampering device, obtain property by false pretense removal of antitheft device, larceny, resist a public officer, probation violations. A $35,000 bond was set. Rollie L. James III made the arrest. 

James Parker Bryson, 20, of Devide Dr., Cashiers was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. A $10,000 bond was set. Rollie L. James II made the arrest. 

August 23

Nicholas Davidson,  30, of Alarka Rd., Bryson City, was charged with driving while license revoked. No bond was set. Scottie R. Holder made the arrest. 

Sherri Watson, 24, of Nutmeg Lane, was charged with failure to appear for drive motor vehicle with no registration, driving while license revoked, possession of counterfeit currency. A $5,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

Jarred Robert Richardson, 19, of Memorial Drive, Cullowhee, was charged with possession of paraphernalia, possession of marijuana. A $2,500 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.  

 

August 24

Joseph David Morris,  40, of Garlands Private Dr., Kingsport, Tenn., was charged with second degree trespassing. No bond was set. Parrish W. Young made the arrest.  

Jared Dylan Wallace, 26, of Cathys Creek Rd., Brevard, was charged with simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, failure to appear for driving while license revoked, possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest.

Cheryl Lynn Sequoyah, 39, of Wrights Creek Rd., Cherokee, was charged with probation violation. A $10,000 bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest.  

Monica Elise Hernandez, 36, of Pine Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with larceny, attempted larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny after breaking and entering with intent to commit larceny. No bond was set. Maleah N. Mathis made the arrest. 

Edgar Herman Ensley, 56, of Dicks Creek Rd., was charged with resisting a public official/employee, assault on a female. No bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest.

Shakeen Torrez Pickens, 24, of Rugby Dr., Hendersonville, was charged with speeding, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, carrying a concealed weapon, possession with intent to sell/distribute marijuana, drug violations for possession of paraphernalia. A $3,000 bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest.
