Arrests for July 5, 2018

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests June 25 – July 2. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

June 25

Tyler Garrett Converse, 25, of Highlands, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Clay Saunders made the arrest.

Sheldon Trent Bateman, 42, of Topton, was charged with simple assault, court violations, trespassing, communicating threats. A secured bond of $8,000 was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest.

Nichole Shaunna Rivas, 28, of Newberry, S.C., was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, driving while license revoked, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer, driving left of center. A secured bond of $7,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Jason Lowell Bray, 31, of Prosperity, S.C., was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, aid and abet driving while license revoked not impaired revocation. A secured bond fo $7,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Roy England Norvell Jr, 86, of Highlands, was charged with larceny, possession of stolen goods. an unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

June 26

Carrie Elizabeth Williams, 23, of Franklin, was charged with possession of heroin. A secured bond of $3,500 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Jason Christopher Webster, 42, of Franklin, was charged with possession of heroin, failure to appear for domestic violence protective order violation. A secured bond of $8,500 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Reyna Angelicka Garcilita, 21, of Franklin, was charged with sell/deliver heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule I controlled substance, maintaining a place for controlled substances. A $35,000 bond was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Tristan Isrel Sanchez, 29, of Whittier, was charged with possession of heroin, flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle, injury to real property, reckless driving, speeding, fictitious/canceled/revoked registration card/tag, seat belt violation, driving while license revoked, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, probation violations. A secured bond of $35,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

June 27

Natosha Beth Hill, 37, was charged with contempt of court failure to pay child support. A $1,050 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

June 28

Melissa Middleton Rice, 48, of Franklin, was charged with domestic violence protection order violation. No bond was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest.

Kelly Kristine Bates Mayhorn, 46, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and entering, injury to real property. An unsecured bond of $3,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest.

Bettie Sue Couch, 53, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $7,500 was set. David Blanton made the arrest.

June 29

Brandy Lynn Mills, 38, of Franklin, was charged with resist/obstruct delay law enforcement officer. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Clay Saunders made the arrest.

April Renee Burd, 25, of Franklin, was charged with probation violations. A secured bond of $9,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Adam Paul Green, 31, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Joshua Edly Gregory, 28, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for possession of stolen goods and probations violations. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

July 1

Ryan Marcus Sharrett, 34, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked, probation violation, resist public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $17,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

George Henry Aguilar Jr., 49, of Franklin, was charged with contempt of court, perjury, court violations, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $3,500 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.

July 2

Sima Abram Glekel, 79, of Franklin, was charged with discharge weapon on occupied property, injury to real property, injury to personal property. A secured bond of $35,000 was set. Thomas Tenhagen made the arrest.

Hunter Joseph Johnson, 19, of Patton Creekside Dr., was charged with larceny of a boat, possessing stolen goods, breaking and entering a boat. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Matt G. Pellicer made the arrest.

Chrystal Dawn Bates, 40, of Old Cat Creek Rd., was charged with criminal damage to property vandalism, drug violations. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Christy M. Evans made the arrest.

June 29

Aaron Keaton Bates, 23, of McDaniel Dr., was charged with larceny by an employee. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. Matt G. Pellicer made the arrest.

Jason Dean Moore, 35, of Canada Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with larceny for shoplifting, driving while license revoked, probation violation. A secured bond of $12,000 was set. Matt G. Pellicer made the arrest.

Leslie Rena Dendy, 46, of Highlands Rd., was charged with larceny by an employee. An unsecured bond was set. Christy M. Evans made the arrest.

July 1

Christopher Ray Wiley, 19, of Calvary Dr., Otto, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, larceny, possessing/concealing stolen property, larceny by removing and destroying an antishoplifting device, resisting a public officer. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Justin M. Norman made the arrest.

June 26

Rebecca Lee Cedillo, 31, of Little Rock Circle, was charged with violation of a domestic violence protective order. No bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

Gabe William Frady, 19, of Moon Shadow Mountain, Cullowhee, was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of less than 1/2 oz of marijuana, driving while intoxicated for alcohol and/or Drugs. No bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

June 27

Henry Whiperwil Mahsetky, 36, of Big Cove Rd., Cherokee, was charged with larceny for shoplifting. No bond was set. James L. Clawson made the arrest. David Gerald Mathis, 32, of Allens Branch Rd., was charged with non-support/non-payment. No bond was set. James L. Clawson made the arrest.

Jordan Gregory Akers, 28, of Meadow View Terriace, Weaverville, was charged with drug violations for possessing marijuana, drug violations for paraphernalia. No bond was set. James L. Clawson made the arrest.

Linda Ann Carpenter, 57, of Berts Creek, Robbinsville, was charged with drug violations for equipment/paraphernalia possessing/concealing, possession of methamphetamine. A $2,500 bond was set. Scottie R. Holder made the arrest.

Phyllis Ward Cooper, 60, of Whirlwind Dr., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked, carrying concealed weapon. A $750 bond was set. Rollie L. James made the arrest.

Javier Garcia Perez, 42, of Cashiers, was charged with failure to stop at a duly erected sop sign, driving while intoxicated for alcohol. A $1,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

Stephanie Lee Hughes, 29, of Teigue Cove Rd., Whittier, was charged with second degree trespass, probation violation, failure to appear for simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance, no operators license. A $6,000 bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest.

June 28

John Donald Kinsey, 28, of Pine Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with fraud for obtaining money/property by false pretense, uttering counterfeit note. A $10,000 bond was set. John A. Beegle Jr. made the arrest.

Frank Michael Lucas, 32, of Cutting Edge Dr., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling for a controlled substance, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a firearm by a felon. A $70,000 bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest.

Jennifer Marie Barker, 39, of Hwy. 19 So., Bryson City, was charged with possession of stolen goods, fraud for obtaining property by false pretense. A $3,000 bond was set. Chrystal D. Deitz made the arrest.

Dara Wolfe, 20, of Henry Wachacha Rd., Robbinsville, was charged with communicating threats. A $500 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. Jessica Rain Owl, 24, of Copper Head Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for larceny. A $1,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. John Robert Ayen, of J. Bradley Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, misdemeanor resisting a public officer misdemeanor carrying a concealed weapon, misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, felony flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle, failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear on felony, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute a schedule II controlled substance, trafficking in methamphetamine by transportation, trafficking in methamphetamine by possession.
