The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests May 29 – June 4. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

May 31

Christopher Allen Stamey, 31, of Franklin, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of equipment or paraphernalia, possession of a stolen firearm, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a schedule II controlled substance. A secured bond of $100,000 was set. Troy Burt made the arrest.

Trent Michelle Bolin, 43 of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $2500 was set. David Blanton made the arrest.

Corsini Valdes III, 23, of Franklin, was charged with larceny, possessing or concealing stolen property, and obtaining money or property under false pretenses. A secured bond of $3000 was set. Mike Langley made the arrest.

Krystal Marie Downing, 19, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

June 1

Richard Jeffrey Vannucci, 42, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Jonathan Taylor made the arrest.

Shauna Nichole Rivas, 28, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana up to half an ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Jonathan Taylor Thomas made the arrest.

Dallas Giles Dishman, 25, of Franklin, was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $20000 was set. Jonathan Taylor Thomas made the arrest.

June 2

Jeffrey Todd Sanders, 51, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female, breaking and entering and injury to personal property. No bond was set. Michael Hollifield made the arrest.

June 3

Jacob Keith Bateman, 25, of Franklin, was charged with financial card theft, resisting a public officers, possession of stolen goods and obtaining property under false pretenses. A secured bond of $7,500 was set. Brian Mitchell made the arrest.

Chad Thomas Moses, 30, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear in court and driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $108,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

June 4

Christopher Matthew Dorling, 40, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a child under the age of 12 and misdemeanor child abuse. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Mike Langley made the arrest. Franklin Police Department

May 29

Travis James Gregg, 41, of Tessentee Rd., Otto, was charged with larceny, criminal damage to property and failure to appear on an extradition warrant. A secured bond of $41,500 was set. Tony Ashe made the arrest.

May 30

Austin Matthew Conley, 25, of Ulco Lane, Franklin, was charged with larceny of a firearm, breaking and entering, possession of a stolen firearm, possession of stolen goods, injury to real property and larceny after breaking and entering. A secured bond of $8,000 was set. Nick Leatherman made the arrest.

Justin Southard, 41, of Ulco Lane, Franklin, was charged with aiding and abetting breaking and entering, aiding abetting larceny and resisting, obstructing or delaying a police officer. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Nick Leatherman made the arrest.

May 31

Whitney Clarene Shuler, 18, of Watauga Circle, Franklin, was charged with larceny by an employee and fraud by obtaining money or property under false pretenses. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Mark Foster made the arrest.

June 1

Jason Dean Moore, 35, of Canada Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Jonathan Bean made the arrest.

Caleb Scott Tallent, 28, of Claude Rogers Rd., Franklin, was charged with breaking and entering and larceny from a construction site. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Jonathan Bean made the arrest.

Dallas Giles Dishman, 25, of Leonard Lane, Franklin, was charged with probation violations. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Jonathan Bean made the arrest.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

May 28

Lloyd Junior Petterson, 59 of Pigeon Lane, was charged with protective order violation. No bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.

Kasia Rose Bird, 18, of Clayton St., was charged with communicating threats. No bond was set. Celestine Holloman made the arrest.

William Douglas Allen, 28, of Sylva, was charged with indecent exposure and aiding and abetting the exposure of genitalia. A secured bond of $250 was set. Kenneth Woodring made the arrest.

May 30

Bradley Ervin Lisowe, 34, of Astro Dr., was charged with interfering with emergency communications, assault on a female. No bond was set. Jesse Henkel made the arrest.

May 31

Dillon Wayne McKay Watkins, 27, of Johns Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear in court. Mark Junaluska made the arrest.

Cynthia Scruggs, 55, of Willets Rd., was charged with failure to appear, larceny, larceny by an employee. A secured bond of $16,500 was set. William Hawkins made the arrest.

Phillip Trevin Young, 28, of Quinn Holocombe Rd., Whittier, was charged with possession of a stolen motor vehicle. A $5,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

June 1

Dalisa Daniela Watty, 39, of Emma Taylor Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Stephen Watson made the arrest.

Walker Bowman, 48, of Big Cove Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear in court, possession of methamphetamine and probation violation. A secured bond of $60,000 was set. Stephen Watson made the arrest.

Matthew Daniel Smith, 34, of Castlewood Lane, was charged with driving while intoxicated for alcohol. No bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest.

Lori Jane Cantrell, 46, of Bigwitch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with second degree trespassing. A $1,000 bond was set.

Stephen B. Watson made the arrest. Robert Justin Steele, 31, of Hall Heights, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property, larceny merchant emergency door, obtaining property by false pretense. A $60,000 bond was set. Stephen B. Watson made the arrest.

Eric Lee Vaughan, 27, of Phaesant Rd., was charged with assault by pointing a gun. A $1,000 bond was set. Stephen B. Watson made the arrest.

June 2

Steven Frank Lee, 26, of Fisher Creek Rd., was charged with communicating threats. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Stephen Watson made the arrest.

Walania Malvinia Shell, 59, of Poor Boy Lane, Whittier, was charged with simple assault. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Sean Bryson made the arrest.

Dawnina Maia Jump, 21, of Poor Boy Lane, Whittier, was charged with simple assault on a child under the age of 12 and simple assault. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Sean Bryson made the arrest.

Monica Elise Hernandez, 35, of Pine Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with burglary non-forced entry, larceny, breaking and entering non-forcible. A $10,000 bond was set.

Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest. Donald Jake Stamey, 35, of Radcliff Dr., Leicester, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, failure to appear for open container. A $5,000 bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest.

June 3

Mark Anthony Wood, 29, of Clay Haven Heights, was charged with failure to appear in court. A secured bond was set. Robert Woodring made the arrest.

Autumn Marie Thompson, 28, of Clay Haven Heights, Webster, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of methamphetamine. No bond was set. Robert Nicholson made the arrest.

Qienten Carrie Riggs, 22, of Pyramid Place, was charged with failure to appear for defraud drug test, damaging computers. A $4,500 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Joshua Warren McDowell, 37, of Cook Rd., Highlands, was charged with misdemeanor probation violations. No bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.
