The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests May 14 – 21. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

May 15

Kayln LaShale Guffey, 18, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and/or entering, larceny from buildings, possessing/concealing stolen property. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest.

Michael David Swenson, 26, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. David Blanton made the arrest.

Joseph Carlton Nobles III, 24, of Franklin, was charged with accessory after the fact. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Thomas Tenhagen made the arrest.

Gabriel Bruce Bolick, 35, of Franklin, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Thomas Tenhagen made the arrest.

May 16

Carie Ann Huskey, 34, of Bryson City, was issued an indictment for conspire to traffic methamphetamine, trafficking in methamphetamine. An unsecured bond of $10,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

Gabriel Bruce Bolick, 35, of Franklin, was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

May 17

Jonathan Russell Key, 31, of Franklin, was charged with child support enforcement for contempt. A secured bond of $1,641 bond was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest.

May 18

Travis Scott Mason, 36, of Franklin, was issued and indictment for conspire to obtain money/property by false pretense. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

Gabriel Bruce Bolick, 35, of Franklin, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. James E. Crawford made the arrest.

Caleb Scott Tallent, 28, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and/or entering a motor vehicle, breaking and/or entering, felony larceny, larceny after break/entering, possession of stolen goods/property, obtain property by false pretense. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

Samantha Megan Sanders, 28, of Franklin, was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving while license revoked violation restored license, reckless driving with wanton disregard, speeding 80/55. A secured bond of $3,000. David F. Head made the arrest.

Amber Lynn Bates, 27, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana more than 1/2 ounce but less than 1 and 1/2, ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. David Blanton made the arrest.

Thomas Andrew Green, 30, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana greater then 1/2 ounce but less than 1 and 1/2 ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A $10,000 bond was set. David Blanton made the arrest.

May 20

Teresa Roqumore, 38, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault, injury to personal property. No bond was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

May 21

Dwight Enoch Hawkins Jr., 26, of Franklin, was charged with parole and probation violations, failure to appear for failure to wear seat belt for driver, driving while license revoked impaired revocation. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Talya Rochalle Brendle, 21, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. David Blanton made the arrest.

John David Hall, 37, of Franklin, was charged with communicating threats. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Brittany Mae Roeder, 25, of Franklin, was charged with simple physical assault, assault on another person in the presence of a minor. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest.

Matthew Owen Carpenter, 29, of Franklin, was charged with driving while license revoked, fictitious/concealed/revoked registration card/tag. A secured bond of $1,200 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

May 19

Travis Aron Zepeda, 21, of Pine Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with probation violation, resist/obstruct/delay, failure to appear for driving while license revoked, larceny. A secured bond of $23,400 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Jessie Ann Clark, 23, of Mills Branch Rd., Sylva, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked and unsupervised probation violation, possession of marijuana, resist/obstruct/delay. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Donald Ray Cannon, 52, of Ellis Lane, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $500 was set. Justin M. Norman made the arrest.

Tyler Lee Gilbreath, 28, of Frazier Rd., was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Jennifer Marie Gerba, 38, of Shady Cove Lane, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked and resist a public officer. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

John Carl Luopa, 43, of Elton Ave., Carolina Beach, was charged with child abuse. A $1,000 bond was set. James L. Clawson made the arrest.

Juan Villeda Estrada, 38, of Shoemac Dr., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest.

Jeremy Lee Gunter, 33, of Whirlwind Dr., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $500 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Seneca Devon Benning, 48, of Cope Creek Rd., was charged with simple assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon. No bond was set. Stephen B. Watson made the arrest.

Manuel Albizu Harrington, 29, of Edge Water Rd.,, Cullowhee, was charged with assault by pointing a gun, possession of gun on educational property. A $7,500 bond was set. Rene E. Clontz made the arrest.

Krista Bryson Valentine, 53, of Valor Mountain Rd., Glenville, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest.

Richard Vance Jones, 60, of River Bend, was charged with assault on a female. A $3,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Heather Lee Taylor, 29, of Young Squirrell Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession/displayed/altered/fictitious/ revoked driver license, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, second degree trespass. A $1,000 bond was set. Charles B. Hooper made the arrest.

James Russell Banks, 41, of Thunder Rd., Clyde, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

May 17

Brooklyn Mercedes McCoy, 25, of Sprint Lane, was issued a true bill of indictment for conspire to sell schedule VI controlled substance. A $5,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Mark Loren Miller, 30, of Resevior Ridge, Cullowhee, was charged with trafficking in LSD by sale. A $10,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Rogelio Torres Rivera, 38, of Spike Rd., Glenville, was issued a true bill of indictment. A $15,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Paul Ensley, 54, of Wrights Creek Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for unsafe movement. A $500 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest.

May 18

William Eric Woodard, 54, of Leatherwood Rd., was charged with first degree trespassing enter/remain, assault on a female. No bond was set. Charles B. Hooper made the arrest.

Brittany Hope Woodring, 28, of Marion Forest Apartments, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance. No bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Chelsea Lynn Youngdeer, 26, of Enoch Sampson Rd., Cherokee, was charged with parole and probation violations. A $1,500 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.

May 19

Dimitrios Panagiotopoulos, 53, of Kenilworth Boulevard, Sebring, Fla., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest.

Nathanile Trevon Evans, 18, of Hoot Owl Cove Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for under age drinking. A $100 bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest.

Jacqueline Ann Laura, 39, of Wilkesdale St., was charged with driving while intoxicated for alcohol and/or drugs. A $500 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

Mark Anthony Wood, 29, of Clay Haven Heights, was charged with larceny for shoplifting. A $500 bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest.

Marty William Rogers, 50, of Evergreen Circle, Waynesville, was issued a true bill for assault on law enforcement officer with a fire arm. A $50,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Thomas Logan Shuler, 20, of Airdale Rd., was charged with battery of unborn child, assault on a female. No bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest.

Johnnie Ray Arch, 45, of Sylva, was charged with escape for custody or resist arrest, trespassing. A $500 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.
