Arrests for November 29, 2018

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests Nov. 10 – 26. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

November 13

Matthew Tyler Davis, 35, of Wilmington, was charge with probation violation. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest  

November 14

Melissa Dawn Rose Mathis, 18, of Franklin, was charged with injury to personal property. A $2,000 bond was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest. 

November 17

Brandon Lee Mills, 24, of Franklin, was charged with warrant for arrest for fugitive. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Hunter Joseph Johnston, 20, of Franklin, was issued a warrant for arrest for fugitive. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Jesse Lee Cody Atcheson, 24, of Franklin, was issued a warrant for arrest for fugitive. A $10,000 bond was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Joan Hobbs, 50, of Franklin, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Charles Daniel Medlock, 22, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and entering, larceny after break/enter, possession of stolen goods/property, injury to real property. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest. 

November 18

Matt Dillan Laws, 23, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest.  

November 20

Joshua Edly Gregory, 29, of Franklin, was charged with larceny, injury to personal property. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest. 

Christopher Eric Prince, 26, of Franklin, was charged with child support enforcement contempt. A secured bond of $870 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest. 

Christian Ryan Sammons, 25, of Cullowhee, was charged with child support enforcement contempt. A secured bond of $870 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest. 

Casey Michael Holland, 24, of Franklin, was charged with harboring escapee felony. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

November 21

James Smith, 48, of Franklin, was charged with second degree trespasss, defrauding an innkeeper. An unsecured bond of $600 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

November 23

Mitchell Lee Stahl, 43, of Highlands, was issued a warrant for breaking and/or entering, larceny after breaking and entering, safecracking. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

Joan Beck Hobbs, 49, of Highlands, was issued a warrant for offenses committed in jurisdiction for aid and abet break and enter. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Dylan Wayne Tallent, 22,  of Otto, was charged with failure to appear, second degree trespass. A secured bond of $15,250 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest.

November 12

Brian Lynn Brugman, 42, of D. Long Rd., was charged with order for arrest.  A secured bond of $1,200 was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest. 

November 15

Danny Lee Thomas, 27, of Newman Rd., was charged with probation violation, habitual felon, violating court orders. A secured bond of $244,000 was set. E. D. Kirkland made the arrest.

Travis Aron Zepeda, 22, of No Name Rd., was charged with order for arrest. A secured bond of $12,000 was set. R. S. Dula made the arrest. 

Joshua Tyler Watts, 23, of N. Womack St., was charged with simple assault, injury to real property, resisting officer. A secured bond of $500 was set. E. D. Kirkland made the arrest.  

November 22

Seth Kinley Ledford, of Red Bird Mountain Rd., was charged with driving under the influence. An unsecured bond of $600 was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest. 

November 24

Regina Leigh Sanders, 35, of Tattnal Dr., was issued an order for arrest for resist/obstruct/delay. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. R. S. Dula made the arrest.

November 10

Terry Wayne Glance, 41, of Glenn Cabe Rd., was charged with child support purge. A $378 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest. 

November 11

Paul B. Crisp, 76, of Troy Martin Rd., Whittier, was charged with conspiracy, larceny. A $1,000 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Carolyn Elizabeth Loftis, 28, of Lemmond Acres Dr., Mint Hill, was charged with driving while license revoked. A $250 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Carroll Wilburn Fisher, 71, of Jasper Lea Dr., was charged with assault on a female. A $500 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest. 

Kayla Ansley Welch, 25, of Quail Rd., Cherokee, was charged with marijuana up to 1/2 oz, drug violations for paraphernalia possessing, resist a public officer, second degree trespassing. A $1,000 bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest. 

November 13

Trey Allen, 30, of Munchkin Lane, was charged with resisting a public officer, flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle, no operators license. No bond was set. William S. Collins made the arrest. 

Jonathan Sam Brady, 36, of Mineral Springs Rd., was charged with assault on a female by show of force. No bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest. 

November 14

Anthony Welch Saunooke, 23, of Dry Bone Rd., Whittier, was charged with larceny, failure to appear for obtaining property false pretense. A $10,000 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Jesus Eduardo Diaz, 30, of Old Cullowhee Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $500 bond was set.. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

David Alvin Bradley, 29, of Sim Taylor Rd., Cherokee, was charged with true bill of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $2,500 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Scott Adrain Bassett, 37, of Deer Park Loop, Spruce Pine, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $5,000 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Jeffery Spencer Green, 46, of Slabtown Rd., Cashiers, was charged with failure to appear for traffic infraction, flee to elude. A $5,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter. made the arrest. 

November 15

Anthony Travis Arrwood, 32, of Saint James Place, was charged with driving while license revoked, possession of stolen goods/property, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen motor vehicle. A $15,000 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest. 

Chasity Lynn Austin, 25, of Copperhead Cove, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen motor vehicle. A $10,000 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest. 

Patsy French Armachain, 44, of Almond Rd., was charged with possession of stolen goods/property, possession of burglary tools, possession of stolen motor vehicle. A $10,000 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest. 

November 17

Scotty Lee Nelson, 35, of Union Hill Rd., Whittier, was charged with probation violation, assault inflicting serious injury. A $10,000 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest. 

Jennifer Renee Morgan, 17, of Rock Hill Church Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, probation violation, assault on a government official. A $20,000 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest. 

 

November 18

David Donnie Luker, 41, of Luker Branch Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with communicating threats, assault and battery, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of firearm by a felon. A $32,000 bond was set. Brandon D. Hooper made the arrest. 

Maricela Consuela Sanchez, 27, of Big Witch Rd., Cherokee, was issued an order for arrest for possession of methamphetamine. A $20,000 bond was set. Dray E. Holland made the arrest. 

November 20

Michael Thad Schrader,  49, of Hwy 107, Cullowhee, was charged with larceny, breaking and entering forcible, resist a public officer, sell/deliver marijuana, possession/concealing stolen property, larceny after breaking and entering. A $40,000 bond was set. John A. Beegle Jr. made the arrest.
