The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests October 15 – 23. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

October 16

Darrin Kenneth Crisp, 44, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

Austin Matthew Conley, 26, of Franklin, was charged with possession of a stolen firearm, larceny of firearm. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Tammy Lorraine Buckner, 54, of Franklin, was charged with Assault on a handicapped person. An unsecured bond of $3,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

Danny Lee Thomas Jr., 27, of Franklin, was charged with assault inflicting serious injury. No bond was set. Joel Lynch made the arrest. 

Rita Kay Speed, 50, of Highlands was charged with warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

Franklin Warren Wiley, 30, of Dacula, Ga., was charged with assault and battery. No bond was set. Robert Young made the arrest. 

Danny L. Thomas Jr., 27, of Franklin, was charged with  probation violation. No bond was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

October 19

Dustin Ryan Denny, 29, of Kernersville, N.C., was charged with sex offense first degree of child, indecent liberties with children, failure to appear for felony. A secured  bond of $1,030,000 was set. Jonathan A. Taylor made the arrest. 

October 22

Cody Elmer Levi Owen, 22, was charged with warrant service for offenses committed in jurisdiction. A $12,000 bond was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest.

Amanda Jayne Cook, 40, of Franklin, was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

October 15

Shiinon Eugene Callenback, of Georgia Rd., was charged with intoxicated and disruptive in public. M.A. Bingham made the arrest. 

Athena Hensley Cobb, of Lakeside Dr., was charged with second degree trespass, resisting officers. M.A. Bingham made the arrest.  

October 16

Heather Deanna Mathis, of Burnette Rd., was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor larceny.  A.C. Stahl made the arrest. 

Kari Huskey Conard, of E. Main St., was charged with possession of stolen motor vehicle, possession of stolen goods/property, possession of methamphetamine, drug equipment violations.  M.A. Bingham made the arrest.

Athena Hensley Cobb, of Lakeside Dr., was charged with second degree trespass. D. E. Holland made the arrest. 

October 20

Reid Alexander Hampton, of Memorial Park, was charged with  failure to appear. A.C. Stahl made the arrest. 

Dennis Paul Kramber, of Highlands Rd., was charged with speeding 98 in a 55, driving while license revoked, failure to appear. A. C. Stahl made the arrest.

Samanatha Sherlene Charles, of Crissy Lane, was charged with trespass of real property. J. M. Norman made the arrest. 

William Floyd Ibaugh Jr., of Crissy Lane, was charged with trespass of real property. J.M. Norman made the arrest.  

Nicole Rose Falvo, of Georgia Rd, was issued a warrant for arrest for failure to appear. M.A. Bingham made the arrest.

Melba Ann Keener, of Macon Plaza, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. M.A. Bingham made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

October 15

Blake Pearson Henry, 23, of Leatherwood Rd., was charged with maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession of acetylfentanyl possession of heroin, conspire to possession with intent to sell/deliver acetylfentanyl, conspire to possession with intent to sell/deliver heroin, resisting a public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $65,000 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest.

Melissa Middleton Rice,  48, of Gods Acres, Cashiers, was charged with larceny of a horse, resist/obstruct/delay, communicating threats, domestic criminal trespassing, possession of stolen property. No bond was set. Parrish W. Young made the arrest. 

Jesse Lonnie Harkins, 28, of Mill Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with fugitive from other state. A $5,000 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest.

Angela Earlene Woodard, 41, of McCormick, Wilmington, was charged with drunk and disruptive. A $500 bond was set. Megan L. Rhinehart made the arrest.

Ronald Dennis Litterll, 43, of Leatherwood Rd., was charged with communicating threats, assault on a child under 12, assault on a female. No bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest. 

October 19

Juan DeDios Villegas Gomez, 19, of Norton Rd., Cashiers, was charged with simple assault, assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury. A $25,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest. 

Hector Cortes Ortiz, 40, of Norton Rd., Glenville, was charged with simple assault. A $1,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest. 

October 20

William Edward Taber, 32, of Woodland Hill Dr., Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A $500 bond was set. Robert. E. Porter made the arrest. 

Davidson Bradley Stephen, 34, of Hickory Knoll Rd., Franklin, was charged with fugitive from other state. A $10,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

October 21

Timothy Scott Lawrence, 31, of Old Cullowhee Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle. A $20,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.
