Arrests for October 4, 2108 

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests September 24 – 30. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

September 26

George Collin Stiwinter, 16, of Franklin, was charged writh failure to appear. A secured bond of $250 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

September 27

Dustin Cole Estevez, 29, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for criminal summons of citation. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest. 

Ronald Lee Wickham, 48, of Franklin, was charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, carrying a concealed gun, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest.

September 24

Hannah Gabrielle Hatton, 20, of Timber Wolf Trail, Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A $500 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest.

Deborah Zepeda Munoz,  43, of River Park, Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked, no insurance, revoked registration. A $4,000 bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest. 

James Derrick Jenkins, 24, of Red Tail Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for probation violation. A $40,000 bond was set. Scottie R. Holder made the arrest.

Laura Beth Shuttle, 58, of Adams Creek, Whittier, was charged with simple physical assault, trespassing. A $1,000 bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest. 

Daniel John Harkin, 32, of Dicks Creek Rd., Whittier, was charged with child abuse non-assaultive, simple physical assault. A $5,000 bond was set. Megan L. Rhinehart made the arrest. 

Toby Alexander Crowe, 25, of Meat Branch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of stolen property. No bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

Billy Joe Brady Smith, 22, of Ensley Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for violation of court order, unauthorized use of motor vehicle. A $1,000 bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest. 

Anthony Edison Mace, 30, of Trout Creek Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with failure to appear for felony probation violation, felony possession of a schedule I controlled substance. A $40,000 bond was set. Scottie R. Holder made the arrest. 

William Matthew Benefield, 34, of Webster Rd., was charged with failure to appear for simple worthless check. A $750 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest. 

Keonta Monteece Ardrey, 39, of Hwy 441 N., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for impeding traffic. A $500 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest. 

Raymond Harold Bobbitt, 47, of Davis Motel, Whittier, was charged with intoxicated and disruptive, resist/obstruct/delay, felony habitual assault on a female. No bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest. 

Michael Sean Lewis, 50, of Lee St., was issued a true bill of indictment for habitual felon, maintaining a dwelling, paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell/distribute, child support. A $52,710 was set. Scottie R. Holder made the arrest. 

Benjamin Scott Hartbarger, 21, of Full Wood Lane, was issued a true bill of indictment for possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/distribute a schedule I controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, possession with intent to sell/distribute heroin, conspire to possession with intent to sell/distribute heroin. A $25,000 bond was set. Scottie R. Holder made the arrest. 

Krista Crouse Oxendine, 46, of Rocky Branch Rd., Whittier, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/distribute a schedule II controlled substance. A $25,000 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest.

William Jason Woodard, 34, of Leatherwood Rd., was charged with failure to appear for resisting a public officer. A $1,500 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest.

Edward Dwayne Taylor,  30, of Young Squirrell, Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for resisting a public officer, failure to wear seat belt front seat, True bill for failure to appear on a felony, Possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $30,500 bond was set. Charles B. Hooper made the arrest. 

Joshua Briar Nations, 21, of Old Cullowhee Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with extradition/fugitive from other state. A $5,000 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest. 

Randall Francis White, 36, of Connifer Dr., Whittier, was charged with simple non-physical threat upon an officer, resist/obstruct/delay, interfere with emergency communications, assault on a female. $3,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest. 

Mouachi Lee, 29, of Beberly Dr., Spartanburg, S.C., was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, parole and probation violations. A $20,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

Michael Lee Cooper, 54, of Sylva, was charged with failure to appear for resist a public officer, traffic violations, possession of drug paraphernalia, felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, misdemeanor larceny. A $11,000 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest. 

Tori Shey Gunter, 31, of Wolftown Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor probation violation out of county, resist a public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia. A $15,000 bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest 

Brooke Lynn Seay, 41, of Turkey Creek Rd., Clyde, was issued an order for arrest for misdemeanor larceny. A $500 bond was set. Parrish W. Young made the arrest. 

Jackson Rowland Brown, 37, of Hibiscus Dr., Balsam, was charged with breaking and entering forcible, assault with a deadly weapon. A $5,000 bond was set. Parrish W. Young made the arrest. 

September 28

Anthony Edison Mace, 30, of Trout Creek Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with failure to appear for notice revoke unsupervised probation failure to pay, misdemeanor larceny. A $500 bond was set. Maleah N. Mathis made the arrest. 

Jeffery Keith Smith, 39, of Sutton Branch, was charged  with interfering with emergency communications, assault on a female. No bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest. 

Monica Elise Hernandez, 36, of Pine Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with simple assault, motor vehicle theft, misdemeanor larceny. A $5,000 bond was set. Megan L. Rhinehart made the arrest.

Dallas Lyle Dempsey, 23, of Cabin View Lane, Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for reckless driving to endanger, driving while license revoked. A $3,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest. 

 

September 29

Joshua Cole Jernigan, 20, of Gator Dr., Goldsboro, was charged with consume alcohol by 19/20 year old. No bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest. 

Deborah Sue Connolly, 28, of Castle Rock Circle, was charged with fraud for obtaining money/property by false pretense. A $2,500 bond was set. Scottie R. Holder made the arrest. 

Jeremy Lee Gunter, 33, of Whirlwind, Whittier, was charged with trespassing, non-support/non-payment of alimony. A $1,000 bond was set. Samantha A. Tomeck made the arrest. 

September 30

Joseph Terry Lanier, 62, of Westview Dr., Balsam, was charged with trespassing, attempted larceny. No bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest. 

Samuel Wahnetah, 23, of Wahneta, Cherokee, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $2,500 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.
