The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests September 28 – October 9. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

October 2

George Bell, 35, of Franklin, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, maintaining a place for controlled substances. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest.

October 3

Samuel Dwaine Hedden, 62, of Hiawassee, Ga., was charged with aggravated assault of an officer, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest.

October 4

Chester Michael Garrett, 46, of Topton, was charged with second degree trespassing, communicating threats, discharge weapon occupied property. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest.

Jason Warren Hill, 36, of Franklin,  was charged with breaking and entering, felony larceny. A secured bond of $6,000 was set. James E. Crawford II made the arrest.

Anthony Pruitt, 39, of Franklin, was charged with misdemeanor stalking, communicating threats, second degree trespassing. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Kathleen Couch Dills, 55, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and/or entering, larceny after break and enter, possession of stolen goods/property, first degree trespass enter/remain. A $10,000 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Phoenix Odaius Dalrymple, 19, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny, possessing stolen property. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest.

Kyle Benjamin Cabe, 19, of Otto, was charged with felony escape local jail, possession of a weapon by a prisoner, injury to personal property. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Dwight Enoch Hawkins Jr. 25, of Franklin, was charged with larceny, possessing/concealing stolen property. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Anthony Zari made the arrest.

October 8

Charles E. Sweat III, 18, was charged with simple physical assault, assault on a female. An unsecured bond of $3,000 bond was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

October 9

Jessica Danielle Butler, 26, of Murphy, was charged with forgery of instrument, uttering forged endorsement, obtain property by false pretense. A secured bond of $26,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

Jonas Healan Pittman, 20, of Franklin, was charged with third degree sex exploit minor. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

Dwight Enoch Hawkins Jr., 25, of Dogwood lane, was charged with failure to appear for assault on a child. A secured bond of $6,000 was set Randy S. Dula made the arrest.

Joshua Warren McDowell, 36, of Cook Rd., Highlands, was charged with fraud for worthless checks. A secured bond of $500 was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest.

Billly Davis Wilson, 39, of Mi Mountain Rd., was issued fugitive warrant for probation violations. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

October 9

Amber Nicole Stover, 30, of Saldeer Rd., was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, resist/obstruct/delay, disorderly conduct, possession of open container/alcohol passenger area. A secured bond of $3,0000 bond was set. Randy S. Dula made the arrest.

Angela Marie Selig, 28, of Windy Gap, Cullowhee, was charged with simple assault. A $500 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest.

Melissa Marie Loy, 39, of McCall Rd., Cashier, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. No bond was set. Daniel B. Wellmon made the arrest.

Carlos Granados, 26, of Webster Rd., was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A $500 bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest.

Brandon Lee Austin, 19, of Locust Creek Rd., was charged with break/enter to terrorize/injure, violation of court order. A $500 bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest.

Rhonda Lee Ingraham, 69, of Truck Wheel Holler, was charge with violation of no contact order. A $200 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Angela Crystan Martinez, 38, of Castle Rock Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with failure to appear for fictitious tag, driving while license revoked, communicating threats. A $500 bond was set. Austin R. Holland made the arrest.

Kelly Marie Walkingstick, 28, of Barlow Court, Tuckasegee, was charged with breaking and entering to terrorize/injure. A $7,500 bond was set. Austin R. Holland made the arrest.

Alisha Kaye Toineeta, 25, of Recreation Park Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $1,000 bond was set. Austin R. Holland made the arrest.

Keith Edward Reese, 49, of Redland Place, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Christopher Shaun Gaskins, 33, of Retirement Lane, was issued a fugitive warrant from South Carolina. A $150,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Mary Ashley Cole, 28, of Ridge Rd., Glenville, was charged with communicating threats, injury to personal property, second degree trespass. A $1,000 bond was set. Dray E. Holland made the arrest.

Neal Charle Petri, 66,  of Flamingo Rd., Palm Beach Gardens, Fla., was charged with assault on a female domestic violence. No bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest.

Robert James Allen, 30, of Sparks Dr., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance.  A $1,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest.

Toby Alexander Crowe, 24, of Mink Branch Rd., Cherokee was charged with assault on a government official/employee. A $2,500 bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest.

William Eric Woodard, 53, of Leatherwood Rd., was issued a child support purge. A $1,745 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Joseph Michael Watty, 42, of Bungess Creek Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked. A $2,000 bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest..

Edward Lee Smith, 33, of Pine Crest Rd., Bryson City, was charged with larceny. A $5,000  bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.
