Here is the list of events that have been submitted to us to date. Please note, that these may not be the only events happening for Halloween!

  • Windy Gap Baptist Church located at 111 Windy Gap Road will host a Fall Festival on Friday, Oct. 27 from 6:30 p.m to 8:30 p.m. The event will have food, games, crafts, and more.

 

  • Fall Fest/Trunk or Treat will be held Saturday Oct. 28 at Central Baptist Church on Belleview Rd. From 6 to 7:30 p.m. Candy, games, hot chocolate, and loads of fun. Everyone is welcome as this is a free event and open to the public. Parking is limited; parking attendants to assist. Please, no spooky costumes. Come out and join in the fun.

 

  • Rose Creek Baptist Church Pig Pickin Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, starting at 3 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend. The church is located at 80 Blue Ridge Dr. For more information, call Gene Estes at (828)550-9390.

 

  • West Macon Fire and Rescue Fall Festival will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28, 5 to 8 p.m. Free hot dog dinner, cake Calk, costume contest, games, raffles. The fire department is located a t564 Charles Nolen Rd.

 

  • Itola Baptist Church Trunk or Treat will be held on Saturday, Oct. 28. There will be candy, face painting, bouncy house, hot dogs and s’mores The church is located at 1537 Iotla Church Rd.

 

  • On Saturday, October 28th, Cover to Cover Comics (at 126 Depot Street in Franklin) will be hosting Halloween ComicFest! Free comic books for kids and adults alike, candy, treats, games, and even a costume contest! Absolutely no purchase necessary. The festivities will start at 11 a.m. and run until 10 p.m., so feel free to stop by any time!

 

  • Bethel UMC will host a trunk or treat Saturday 28 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 81 Bethel Church rd Franklin, NC.

 

  • First Baptist Church Fall Festival will be held on Sunday, Oct. 29,  4 to 6 p.m. There will be hayrides, games, fun activities, cider, popcorn & candy. The church is located at 69 Iotla St.
  • Macon County’s annual Halloween in the Park will be held on October 30 from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Macon County Recreation Park.

 

  • The Macon County Public Library in Franklin will host a Halloween themed storytime and trick or treat costume parade on Tuesday, October 31 at 10 AM. Children are encouraged to come to storytime dressed in costume. After storytime, children will trick or treat through the library. Library staff will hand out candy and community members are encouraged to come and assist. The library will provide the candy.
  • Bidwell St. Animated Graveyard and Trick or Treating will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 5 to 9:30 p.m. Several houses on Bidwell Street will be giving out candy as well.

 

  • Franklin Fire and Police Dept. Trunk or Treat will be held on Oct. 31,  5:30 to 8 p.m. Other area Fire Departments will be in attendance to help give out snacks, candy and more. Bring your little ones by for a safe and fun place to trick or treat.

 

  • Cartoogechaye Baptist Church Trunk or Treat will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6 to 8 p.m. The church is located at 465 W. Old Murphy Rd.

 

  • Holly Springs Baptist Church will fill the open field next to Fox Mercantile and Enterprise car rentals (just below Bidwell Street) with inflatables, games, and handing out candy on Tuesday, Oct. 31 from 5 to 8 pm.
  • East Franklin Baptist on Lakeside Dr “Trunk or Treat” will be held on Tuesday, October 31 from 5 to 8 p.m.

 

  • Watauga Baptist Church Trunk or Treat will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31, 6:30 to 8 p.m. The church is located at 658 Watauga Church Rd.

 

  • Ridge Crest Baptist Trunk or Treat will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 31,  6 to 9 p.m. The church is located at 206 Ridgecrest Baptist Church Rd.

 

  • Safe Kids Macon County and Main Street merchants will be hosting a Teal Pumpkin Trick or Treating on Tuesday, October 31 from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. for children with food allergies. Only non-candy items will be given to children.

 

  • Cowee Baptist Church is holding a Wild West Family Fall Festival on November 4 from  4 to 6 p.m. There will be games, hotdogs, hayrides, and fire truck rides.
