Kids Fish Day was Saturday, June 2, at Cliffside Lake.  Ninety-five children registered and most of the kids caught the limit of seven fish.  The lake was stocked with 1,000 brown trout.  Along with the U.S. Forest Service, additional help was provided to make the day a success for everyone.  Lester Norris with the Highlands Recreation Department held a drawing for fishing poles and tackle boxes and also provided fishing equipment such as bait, hooks and other fishing supplies.  The Cradle of Forestry provided hotdogs and Mountain Fresh from Highlands provided the fixings.
