Arrest for May 2, 2019

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests April 22 – 29. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County – Sheriff’s Department 

April 23

Jennifer Marie Gerba, 39, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest. 

James Brooks Ramsey, 24, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for release order. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest. 

Vanessa Lynnette Griffith, 21, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for release order. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest. 

Jessie Lee Cody Atcheson, 24, of Franklin, was charged with warrant service for offenses committed in jurisdiction. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. David F. Head made the arrest. 

Kenneth Dee McClain, 28, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and entering, conspire to commit felony larceny, injury to real property. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Ryan Marcus Sharrett, 35, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and or entering, conspire to commit felony larceny, injury ot real property. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

April 24

Daniel Mark Adler, 31, of Otto, was charged with child support enforcement contempt. A $2,121 bond was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Ricky Elli Wright, 25, of Franklin, was charged with child support enforcement contempt. A $6,895 bond was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Kari Huskey Conard, 41, of Franklin, was issued an indictment. A $5,000 bond was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Jeffery Scott Johnson, 48, of Franklin, was charged with felonious breaking and entering. A secured bond was set. Jonathan A. Taylor made the arrest. 

Sonja Rose Sloan, 47, was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering, probation violation. A secured bond of $11,000 was set. Jonathan A. Taylor made the arrest. 

April 25

Joseph Lee Samarco, 46, of Franklin, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Ryan Marcus Sharrett, 35, of Franklin, was charged with possession of burglary tools. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Reid Alexander Hampton, 21, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $500 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

April 26

Katrina Zoah Rebecca Bottoms, 23, of Franklin, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $800 was set. David F. Head made the arrest. 

Alisha Nicole Sumner, 19, of Franklin, was charged with warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. A secured bond of $11,000 was set.  David F. Head made the arrest. 

Nathan Shane Humphries, 26, of Franklin, was charged with warrant service for offense committed out of jurisdiction. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Christian M. Houston made the arrest. 

April 27

Brantley David Potts, 34, of Highlands, was charged with warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. 

Jeannie Lehtinen, 48, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest. 

Rebecca Anamary Hill, 34, of Sylva, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. Anthony Hopkins made the arrest. 

April 28

Nicholas Scott Harvell, 40, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for felony, misdemeanor, fugitive warrant. A secured bond of $75,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest. 

April 29

Raul Gerardo Bailon Damian, 21, of Franklin, was  charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

Jesus Gabriel Damian Mejia, 27, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

Luis Leonardo-Damian Mejia, 24, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

Christopher Ray Wiley, 20, of Otto, was charged with felony breaking and entering, felony larceny of motor vehicle, larceny after breaking and entering. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest.  

Carl K. Floyd, 29, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $500 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Franklin Police Department

April 22

Charles Daniel Medlock, 23, of River Rd., was charged with 12 counts of financial card fraud, financial card theft, 12 counts of obtaining property by false pretense, 12 counts of identity theft, possession of stolen property. A $40,000 bond was set. R. S. Dula made the arrest. 

Marshal Payne Balding, 18, of Oak Forest Ave., was charged with injury to personal property. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. L. C. Beegle made the arrest. 

April 23

Gary Shannon Russell, 46, of Lake Emory Rd., was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $35,000 was set. T. J. Lynn made the arrest. 

Jeffery Stuart Martin, 54, of Palmer Rd., was charged with all other offenses. No bond was set. D. S. Cabe made the arrest. 

April 26

Matthew Davis Harder, 24, Roller Mill Rd., was issued an order for arrest for driving while license revoked. A $250 bond was set. R. S. Dula made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

April 22

Buford William Smith, 47, of Beck Branch, Whittier, was charged with assault on a female, assault inflicting serious injury. No bond was set. 

Tina Marie Williamson, 58, of Hartwood Way, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. 

Terry Leo Williamson, 57, of Hartwood Way, Whittier, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set.

Mary Ashley Cole, 30, of N. Ridge Rd., Glenville, was charged with felony indictment possession of firearm by a felon. A secured bond of $2,000 was set.

Ricky Elli Wright, 25, of Bingham Rd., Franklin, was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

April 23

Dillion Wayne Mckay Watkins, 27, of Johns Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, uttering counterfeit coin, possession of counterfeit instrument/currency. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Caroline Mercy Raybould, 20, of Loblolly Dr., Durham, was charged with breaking and enter to terrorize/injure, injury to personal property, injury to real property. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. 

Ricky Elli Wright, 25, of Bingham Rd., was charged with breaking and entering for Macon County. An unsecured bond of $200 was set. 

Carolyn Elizabeth Keck Loftis, 29, of Camp Creek Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for Swain County. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Christopher James Sawdo, 34, of Cheeck Circle, Whittier, was charged with assault causing physical injury on a law enforcement probation/parole officer, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule VI controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. 

Jimmy Dale Campbell, 30, of 107 So., Cashiers, was charged with possession of stolen goods. No bond was set. 

April 24

Zachary James Warman, 27, of Collie Court, Glenville, was issued a child support purge. A $600 bond was set. 

Joseph Brandon Hall, 25, of Ferguson Rd., was charged with driving while license revoked, first degree trespass, possession of stolen motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle.  A secured bond of $2,000 was set. 

Jeremy Dwight Solomon, 36, of Tasli Crossing, Cherokee, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation out of county, failure to appear for driving while license revoked not impaired revocation. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. 

Joshua Briar Nations, 21, of Nations Creek Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for extradition/fugitive from other state, driving while license revoked impaired revocation, felony larceny. A secured bond of $20,000 was set.

Amari Marquies Rashadeen, 19, of Amberly Lane, Charlotte, was charged with disorderly conduct. No bond was set. 

Mark Anthony Wood,  30, of Clay Haven Heights, was issued a true bill of indictment for misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin. No bond was set. 

April 25

Gioni Bozie, 57, of Prairie Springs Dr., Glenville, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Travis Lindsey Hefner, 25, of Haunted Ridge, Tuckasegee. was charged with failure to appear for simple possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A secured bond was set. 

Joel Robert Poinsette, 20, of Peaks Dr. Cullowhee, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Kevin David Ritchie, 30, of Peaks Dr., Cullowhee, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Jefferson Josue Osorio Medrano, 29, of Comet Court, Cullowhee, was charged with driving while impaired. No bond was set.
