The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests Nov. 2 – 10. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

November 3
Jeffery Calvin Williams, 51, of Woodpecker Way, was charged with resisting a public officer. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Mary Bohanon, 27, of Rough Hill Rd., was charged with a school attendance law violation. A secured bond of $500 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

Joshua Edward Stiwinter, 19, of West Rd., was charged with stalking. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest.
Candace Sawyer Gaddis, 44, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for driving while intoxicated, failure to wear seat belt for driver. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest.

Denna Rai Smith, 33, of Sim Taylor Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of heroin, possession of a controlled substance prison/jail premises, providing drugs to inmate. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Kenneth J. Adams made the arrest.

Devin Whisper Jackson 18, of Sarawak Rd., was charged with breaking and enter a motor vehicle, injury to personal property, larceny. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Ryan Angel made the arrest.

Jena Lee Cooper, 28, of Old Asheville Hwy, was charged with failure to appear for contempt of court for perjury, court violations. A $15,000 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.

Brent Andrew Moore, 25, of Assurance Trail, was charged with failure to appear for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving to endanger, hit and run, failure to stop, property damage, simple physical assault upon an officer, operating a vehicle with no insurance, driving a motor vehicle with no registration. Xavier Dontae-Jamaal Walker, 27, of Brook Run Dr., Charlotte, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, no operators license, fictious information to an officer, simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance.
