The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests March 6 – 13. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

March 7

April Lee Ensley, 23, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Arthur Scott Potts, 27, of Highlands, was charged with failure to appear for larceny from a construction site, possession/receiving stolen property from construction site, obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond of $8,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Jason Jacob Tastinger, 32, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $20,000 bond was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

Jason Warren Hill, 35, of Franklin, was issued a true bill of indictment. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Jake Adam Thomas, 33, of Franklin, was issued a true bill of indictment. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Willie Eldon Watts, 41, of Franklin, was issued a true bill of indictment. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Tarrell Lashawn Williams, 36, of Bryson City, was issued a true bill of indictment. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Caleb William Sutton, 23, of Franklin, was charged with resisting a public officer. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Kathy Bates Mayhorn, 45, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of drug paraphernalia.  A $5,000 bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Dustin Reed Hathcock, 30, of Franklin, was charged with probation violation, failure to pay child support. A secured bond of $13,560 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Oscar Gullien Pacheco, 31, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for driving while impaired. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Brian W. Mitchell made the arrest.

Ikey Gene Collins, 59, of Franklin, was charged with resisting a public officer. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Brittany Lightdove Powers, 27, of Bryson City, was charged with failure to appear for illegal possession/use of food stamps. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Kenneth Judson Gibson, 48, of Franklin, was charged with driving while license revoked not impaired revocation. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Tammy Taylor Ledford, 58, of Franklin, was issued a true bill of indictment for breaking and/or entering, larceny after, possession of stolen goods. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Sarah Dawn Helton, 33, of Waynesville, was charged with possession with intent to sell/distribute marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver MDA/MDMA, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia. Harvey Douglas Bumgarner, 31, of Fisher Creek Rd., was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule VI controlled substance,  possession of stolen goods/property, obtaining property by false pretense.
