mcso_logoThe Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests September 12-19. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

September 13

Joshua Edly Gregory, 27, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Arland Travis Johnson, 41, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Jonathan Michael Moore, 30, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Michael Wayne Belcher, 58, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a stolen firearm. A secured bond of $45,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Phillip Lawrence Buchanan, 53, was charged with misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen property, assault on a female. A $4,000 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

September 14

Mark Johnson Buchanan, 53, was charged with identity theft, obtaining property by false pretense, financial card fraud. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Eric James Ehlenfield, 29, was charged with failure to appear for second degree trespass, communicating threats. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

September 15

Dustin Reed Hathcock, 30, was charged with larceny, fraud for obtaining money/property by false pretense, injury to personal property, breaking or entering a motor vehicle. A $5,000 bond was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

Colton Lee Smith, 27, was charged with simple assault, resisting a public officer. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Robert Young made the arrest.

September 16

Austin Henry Posey, 21, was charged with forgery of instrument, uttering forged instrument, obtaining property by false pretense, misdemeanor larceny. A secured bond of $20,000 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Chandler Reed Stanley, 22, was charged with failure to appear for assault by pointing a gun, communicating threats, breaking coin/currency machine, misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods/property, injury to personal property, go armed to terror of people. A secured bond of $30,000 bond was set.

Dustin Reed Hathcock, 30, was charged with failure to pay child support. A $3,926 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Wayne Kieth Stamey, 50, was charged with simple physical assault. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Anthony Zari made the arrest.

Emily Michelle Reilly, 38, was charged with simple physical assault. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Anthony Zari made the arrest.

Jason Reilly, 41, was charged with disorderly conduct-school, possession /consume beer/wine on unauthorized premises. A $2,000 bond was set. Anthony Zari made the arrest.

Michael Shane Harris, 44, was charged with fugitive from other state for failure to pay child support. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Frederick Leroy Heather, 27, was charged with assault on a female, communicating threats, interfering with emergency communications. Brian W. Mitchell made the arrest.

Roger Theodore Bates, 65, was charged with assault on a female. A $3,000 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

September 18

Kelly Lee Bowers, 50, was charged with breaking and/or entering, first degree trespass enter/remain, communicating threats. A $5,000 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Catlin Nathaniel Davis, 28, was charged with possession of heroin, drug violations for equipment/paraphernalia. A $2,000 bond was set. David F. Head made the arrest.

summer Nicole Hope Davis, 18, was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting concealment, possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

September 19

Rodney cole Watts, 29, was charged with failure to appear for reckless driving to endanger, failure to report accident, window tinting violation, canceled/revoked/suspended, expired/no inspection, expired registration card/tag, operate vehicle with no insurance, hit/run failure to stop property damage. September 15

Efrain Gallardo Guzman, 36, of Forest Ave., was charged with failure to appear for assault on a female, false imprisonment. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Robert Kenneth Harniman, 69, of Georgia Rd., Otto, was charged with trespassing, resisting a public officer. A secured bond of $500 was set. Tony E. Ashe made the arrest.

George Arthur Pohl, 34, of Cedar Crest Dr., Southport, was charged with felony larceny, felony possession of stolen property, breaking and entering a motor vehicle. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Justin M. Norman made the arrest.

Loretta Moss Watson, 55, of Pine Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with communicating threats. No bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Jackie Carl Thomasson, 62, of Dillsboro Rd., was issued a warrant for arrest for simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. A $1,000 bond was set. Scott B. Walters made the arrest.

Roman Placko, 40, of Chestnut Ridge, Sapphire, was charged with trespassing for domestic crime. No bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Ben Christien Bailey, 30, of North Robinson Creek Rd., Glenville, was issued a warrant for arrest for injury to personal property. A $500 bond was set.  Scott B. Walters made the arrest.

Gerald Scott Frizzell, 53, of Cagle Branch Rd., was charged with injury to personal property, felony inciting to riot. A $15,000 bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest.

Johnson Lloyd Sequoyah, 34, of Hwy 28, Bryson City, was charged with driving while license revoked, possessing/concealing weapons. No bond was set. Daniel B. Wellmon made  the arrest.

Jessica Marie Thomas, 33, of Black Rock Rd., Cherokee, was charged with misdemeanor child abuse. No bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Robert Mitchell Hoyle, 32, of Ela Rd., Whittier, was charged with conspiracy to commit felony larceny, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle. No bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Eddie Columbus Taylor, 39, of Raindrop Ridge, was charged with failure to appear for hit/run leaving the scene property damage, simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine. A $10,000 bond was set. Stephen B. Watson made the arrest.

Scenca Devon Benning, 38, of Cope Creek Rd., was charged with failure to appear for driving while impaired. A $5,000 bond was set. Austin R. Holland made the arrest.

Jonathan Michael Williams, 19, of Old Glory Ridge, was charged with failure to appear for operating a vehicle with no insurance, fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag. A $2,000 bond was set. Austin R. Holland made the arrest.

Hildegard Louise Crowe, 31, of Galamore Bridge Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia , possession of methamphetamine. A $15,000 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.

Tonia Ashton Malloy, 30, of Barlett St., was charged with assault by strangulation. A $10,000 bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest.

Carlos Javier Corujotorres, 40, of Serendipity Ln., Tuckasegee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked, failure to wear seat belt for driver. A $750 bond was set. Austin R. Holland made the arrest.
