mcso_logoThe Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests February 5  – 15. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

February 9

Deborah Lynn Crawford, 50, was issued an indictment for  obtaining property by false pretense, uttering a forged instrument, larceny. A $2,500 bond was set. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest.

Lawrence Keith Crawford, 51, was issued an indictment for obtaining property by false pretense, uttering a forged endorsement, possessing stolen goods/property.  A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest.

February 10

George Henry Aguilar Jr., 46, was charged with drug violations for selling equipment/paraphernalia, all other drug violations. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Patrick Merritt made the arrest.

Susan Lee Harris, 67, was charged with trespassing. An unsecured bond of $250 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

February 11

Enoch Percival Jones, 21, was charged with shoplifting concealment of goods, possessing stolen property, possessing drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $500 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

February 12

James Thomas Mann Jr., 52, was charged with failure to appear for driving while intoxicated, probation violation. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Kenneth J. Adams made the arrest.

February 15

Jeffery Michael Jones, 34, was charged with fraud for obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Franklin Police Department

February 8

Robert Allan Blocker, 58, of Scary Branch Rd., Bryson City, was charged with disorderly conduct. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Tony E. Ashe made the arrest.

February 9

Brandon Keener, 19, of Kingwood Cir., was charged with assault on a female, criminal damage to property vandalism. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Christy M. Evans made the arrest.

February 10

Preston Ross Hathcock, 35, of Patton Rd., was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Justin M. Norman made the arrest.

Anthony Mark Holloway, 50, of Upper Burningtown Rd., was charged with drug violations for selling, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of s schedule VI controlled substance. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest.

London Kimsey Altman, 21, of Ulco Bluffs, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $500 was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest.

Jaquelyn Marie Marshall, 26, of Ulco Bluffs, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, domestic violence protection order violation. No bond was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest.

Byrd M. Collins, 69, of Collins Ln., was charged with larceny. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Michael Timothy Crane Jr., 39, of Lake Emory Rd., was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, larceny, possession of stolen goods, removal of anti theft device, simple assault. A secured bond of $6,000 was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

February 5

Jose Maldonado, 27, of Peppermill Ln., was charged with driving while intoxicated for alcohol and/or drugs. A $1,000 bond was set. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

Lisa Miller Carter, 44, of Little Savannah Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with fraud for worthless checks. A $500 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Anthony Welch Saunooke, 20, of Dry Bone Rd., Whittier, was charged with felony probation violation, breaking and entering probation violation. A $10,000 bond was set. Stephen B. Watson made the arrest.

Tony Ray Lynn, 56, of Falls Circle, was charged with communicating threats, resisting arrest, assault with a deadly weapon on a government official. A $50,000 bond was set. Zachary D. Gibbs made the arrest.

February 6

Carolyn Anders Redburn, 48, of Dills Branch Rd., was charged with failure to appear for felony worthless checks. A $6,000 bond was set. Stephen B. Watson made the arrest.

Julio Ceasar Rodreguez, 18, of Cullowhee, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay, consuming alcohol under 19, intoxicated and disruptive. A $3,500 bond was set. Megan L. Rhinehart made the arrest.

Kaulighnuh Oosti French, 26, of Bali Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia. A $500 bond was set. Darrell J. Brooks made the arrest.

February 7

Wenona Dawn Feagan, 43, of Whisper Mountain Rd., was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest.

Michael Ray Rhinehart, 48, of Camp Creek Rd., Whittier, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest.

February 8

Chelsey Elizabeth Delozier, 26, of Munchkin Dr., was charged with trespassing. A $300 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Terri Nicole McCracken, 32, of Webster Rd., was charged with trespassing. A $100 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

February 9

Natasha Leigh Swayney, 31, of Hoot Owle Cove, Whittier, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, fictitious information to an officer, driving while license revoked. A $3,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Kaitlyn Brooke Price, 23, of Big Witch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with second degree trespassing. A $1,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Josie Michelle Owle, 31, of Myers Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, resisting a public officer. A $3,000 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest.

Tony Howard Standingdeer, 37, of Standing Deer Rd., Cherokee, was charged with probation violation, larceny. A $5,000 bond was set. Megan L. Rhinehart made the arrest.

February 10

Stephen Russel Dean McCoy, 29, of Bertha Saunooke Heights, Cherokee, was charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon. A $200,000 bond was set. Rollie L. James made the arrest.

Joseph Cain Luker, 17, of Passmore Ln., Whittier, was charged with possessing/concealing weapons, drug violations for equipment/paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $10,000 bond was set. Scott B. Walters made the arrest.

Thomas Glenn Palmer, 33, of Norman Ln., Tognall, Ga., was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia, simple possession of marijuana. A $3,000 bond was set. Darrell J. Brooks made the arrest.

Pearl Dawn Fielding, 43, of Cope Creek, was charged with a domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Mark C. Junaluska made the arrest.

February 11

Nicodemus Bushyhead, 20, of Sleepy Hollow, Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for second degree trespass. A $500 bond was set. Van E. Anthony made the arrest.

Alexandria Jade Jackson, of Old Mission Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for second degree trespass. A $500 bond was set. Ernest A. Scherman III made the arrest.

February 12

Austin Blake Davis, 18, of Welch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with injury to personal property, obtaining property by false pretense. A $12,000 bond was set. Stephen B. Watson made the arrest.

Jessica Rae Autry, 31, of Rock N Roll Ln., was charged with driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, controlled substance prison/jail premises, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A $20,000 bond was set. Brandon D. Hooper made the arrest.

Caleb Wilson Bradley, 24, of Aurora Ln., was charged with failure to appear for felony larceny, resisting a public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance on prison/jail premises, possession of methamphetamine. A $30,000 bond was set. Brandon  D. Hooper made the arrest.

Chad Lopez Bernhisel, 27, of Adams Creek Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked impaired revocation, fictitious tag. A $3,000 bond was set. Kyle P. Efird made the arrest.

Stephen Dean Russell, 28, of Bertha Saunooke Heights, was charged with conspire to commit robbery with a dangerous weapon, assault with a deadly weapon, second degree kidnapping, robbery with a dangerous weapon. A $150,000 bond was set. Lucas T. Brooks made the arrest.

Jo Anna Cardin, 31, of Morris St., was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor larceny. A $1,000 bond was set. Lucas T. Brooks made the arrest.

February 13

Donna Smith Cormier, 46, of Weyhutta Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with simple worthless check. A $500 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest.

February 14

Thomas Watson Ward, 30, of Sycamore Dr., Whittier, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked impaired revocation. A $2,000 bond was set. Lucas T. Brooks made the arrest.

Krystal Gail Smith, 38, of Old Mission Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for expired registration, driving while license revoked not impaired, fictitious tag. A $250 bond was set. Kyle P. Efird made the arrest.

John Banton Legere, 39. of Castle Rock Cir., was charged with larceny, second degree trespassing, shoplifting concealment of goods. A $2,000 bond was set. Kyle P. Efird made the arrest.

Daniel Jacob Aikens, 24, of Coweeta Church Rd., Franklin, was charged with injury to personal property, trespassing. A $1,000 bond was set. Kyle P. Efird made the arrest.

Leighann Michelle Thompson, 25, of Iron Mountain Rd., was charged with motor vehicle theft. A $10,000 bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest.

  1. It really is getting sad seeing so many former FHS classmates locked up on a weekly basis. There needs to be more opportunity in Franklin.
