Arrests for January 24, 2019

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests January 14 – 22. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

January 15

Robert Earl Passmore, 61, of Franklin, was charged with warrant service for offenses committed in jurisdiction. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

Joseph Daniel Toneges, 40, of Franklin, was charged with driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

January 16

Austin Cheyenne Brantley, 26, of Scaly Mountain, was charged with fugitive out of state felony. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Jill Williamson Montana, 82, of Highlands, was charged with misdemeanor larceny. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest. 

January 17

Joey Tonegas, 37, of Franklin, was charged with second degree trespass. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Daniel Edward William Stanfield, 25, of Otto, was charged with simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance. A secured bond of $60,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Dustin Ty Daves, 25, of Otto, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance. possession of drug paraphernalia, drive left of center. A secured bond of $60,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

Madison Adia Garnett, 20, of Otto, was charged with simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession of heroin, possession of drug paraphernalia. An unsecured bond of $10,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

January 18

James Barry Henson, 50, of Franklin, was charged with driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, canceled/revoked/suspended certificate/tag, expired registration card/tag, operate a vehicle with no insurance.  A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

January 22

Vincent Cesenaro, 35, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $500 was set.

January 15

Tranquilino Alexis Mendoza-Mendoza, 22, of Sloan St., was charged with breaking and entering, larceny of a dog., resisting a public officer, no operators license, destruction/damage/vandalism of property.  No bond was set. L. C. Beegle made the arrest.  

January 16

Noah Danial Cloud, 35, of Bidwell St., was charged with larceny of motor vehicle. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. A. C. Stahl made the arrest.

Ban Buren Rice, 51, of Dan St., was charged with assault on a female, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest. 

January 20

Amber Rae Czerok, 26, of Locust Creek Rd., Sylva, was charged with resisting a public officer, failure to appear for larceny of a motor vehicle. A $10,500 bond was set. D. E.. Holland made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

January 14

Steven Jason Collins, 43, of Poker Branch Rd.,was charged with assault with a deadly weapon with minor present. A $500 bond was set.  

Matthew Douglas Owen, 25, of Canada Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon, misdemeanor child abuse create risk of physical injury, assault with a deadly weapon  with intent to kill. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Richard Burgess Kinsey, 31, of Pine Creek, Cashiers, was charged with resisting a public officer, failure to appear for injury to personal property, possession of methamphetamine. A $20,500 bond was set. 

January 15

Ambrian Makenzie Secor, 18, of Hickory Knoll Court, Greensboro, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A $500 bond was set. 

David Lee Mathis, 40, of Upper North Fork, was charged with violating domestic violence protective order. No bond was set. 

Tosha Kay Brown, 38, of Jasmine Lane, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, No bond was set. 

January 16

Dwight Samuel Parker, 30, of Mountain Noble Rd., Cherokee, was issued a true bill for failure to appear on felony, possession of methamphetamine. No bond was set.

Melissa Middleton Rice,  49, of Tessentee Rd., Franklin, was charged with assault on a law enforcement animal, burn personal property, breaking and entering, resist a public officer, domestic criminal trespass, assault on a government official, violation of court order, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, simple assault, larceny of a motor vehicle. No bond was set. 

Anthony Welch Saunooke, 23,  of Dry Bone Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for obtaining property by false pretense. A $22,000 bond was set. 

Jordan Rae Wolfe, 24, of Rachael Watty Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, true bill of indictment of possession of heroin,  possession of drug paraphernalia. A $52,000 bond was set. 

January 17

Paul Ensley, 55, of Wrights Creek Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for communicating threats unsafe movements. A $3,000 bond was set. 

Esau-Alvarez Blanco, 17, of Arcadia Way, Glenville, was charged with communicating threats, disorderly conduct, simple assault. A $2,000 bond was set. 

 

January 18

Scotty Lee Nelson, 35, of Union Hill Rd., Whittier, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. 

Cody James Rich, 24, of Nations Creek Rd, Whittier, was charged with probation violation. A $500 bond was set. 

January 19

Taylor Lee Corbin, 28, of Breakdown Ridge, Cashiers, was charged with failure to appear for driving while impaired, possession of display altered/fictious/revoked drivers license. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Amanda Dawn Clawson, 37, of Mill Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for second degree trespassing. A $500 bond was set. 

January 20

Keonta Monteece Ardrey, 39, of Olivett Church Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Federick Henry Riley, 39, of Sylva, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a stolen vehicle, larceny of motor vehicle, motor vehicle theft.  A $10,000 bond was set. 

Michael Dereck Hall, 39, of Gravel Dr., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set.
