Arrests for July 18, 2019

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests July 4 – 15. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County – Sheriff’s Department 

July 9

Brandon Jacob Oteri, 29, of Franklin, was charged with felony possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest.  

Casey Michael Holland, 24, of Franklin, was charged with felony harboring an escapee, impersonate law enforcement, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $8,000  was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

July 10

Archie Alexander Picklesiemer, 49, of Highlands, was charged with warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. 

July 11

Darrin Kenneth Crisp, 44, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $500 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

John Robert Parker, 43, of Otto, was charged with common law robbery, simple assault. An unsecured bond of $3,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

Robert Ryan Oteri, 30, of Franklin, was charged with warrant service for resisting a public officer. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Christain M. Houston made the arrest. 

July 14

William Mark Pritikin, 55, of Franklin, obtain property by false pretense. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest. 

July 15

Ahzah Celeste Kennemore, 21, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault. An unsecured bond of $600 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

July 12

Dillan Michael Scott Tomasch, 24, of  Ellijay Rd., was charged with simple assault. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. M. G. Pellicer made the arrest. 

July 13

Stephen Cutler Queens, 22, of Chatuge Heights, Hayesville, was charged with driving under the influence. No bond was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest.  

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

July 4

Billy Joe Mathis, 58, of Sols Creek Church Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with simple assault by show of force. No bond was set. 

 July 5

Jose Luis Zalapa Silva,  23, of Wayah St., Franklin, was issued a true bill of indictment for failure to appear on a felony. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. 

Diamond Spring Wolfe, 24, of Raintree Dr., was issued an order for arrest for a true bill of indictment for possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule I controlled substance. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. 

Joshua Craig Cook, 28, of Poker Branch Rd., was charged with breaking and entering, possession of stolen goods, larceny after breaking and entering. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. 

July 6

Jordan Wayne Lance,  27, of Dehart Cemetery Rd., Bryson City, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin, failure to appear for possession of stolen property, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering forcible. A $5,000 bond was set. 

John Albert Bigwitch, 40, of Rosie Bigwitch Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for obtain property by false pretense. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. 

Darrell Lee Driver, 34, of Toohow Rd., Whittier, was charged with possession of stolen goods. No bond was set. 

Ryan James McLaughlin, 19, of Savannah Dr., was charged with assault by pointing a gun. No bond was set. 

Tara Lynn Wolfe, 22, of Noel Genva Ledford Dr., Cherokee, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. No bond was set. 

Jason Leroy Paul, 24, of Lamp Lighter Lane, Cullowhee, was charged with driving while license revoked, possession of stolen goods. No bond was set.

James Michael Howard, 43, of Sleeping Owl Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

John Thomas Eldreth, 45, of, Wamboldt Ave., Asheville, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon. No bond was set. 

July 8

James Michael Howard, 43, of Sleeping Owl Ridge, Cullowhee, was issued a child support purge. A $3,000 bond was set. 

Tonya Lynn Maney, 30, of Golden Eagle, Whittier, was charged with conspire to commit felony larceny, possession of stolen goods. A $12,000 bond was set. 

Jose Manuel Cortes Batalla, 21, of Womble Lane Swannanoa, was charged with failure to maintain lane control, reckless driving to endanger, offering bribes, speeding, flee to elude, driving while impaired. A secured bond of $22,500 was set. 

Walter Lewis Underwood, 40, of Zeb Alley Rd., Cashiers, was charged with conspire breaking and entering a building enter to commit, possession of stolen property, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering forcible. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. 

Amanda Lee Mezyk, 30, of Young Blood Lane, Sapphire, was charged with conspire to break/enter a building enter to commit, possession of stolen goods, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and enter forcible, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $11,000 was set. 

Sabrina Wendy Laughter, 47, of Wilson Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with misdemeanor possession of stolen property, misdemeanor larceny of a cell phone. No bond was set. 

July 9

Tasdia Skye Cisneros, 29, of Sam Sherrill Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for larceny, resisting a public officer, possession of stolen motor vehicle. A secured bond of $16,500 was set. 

Johnathan Sterling Walker, 26, of Mountain Brook Rd., was charged with fugitive extraduction order from Ohio for possession of drugs, trafficking in drugs, robbery with a firearm. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. 

William Lee Cochran, 48, of North Norton Rd., Cullowhee, was issued a fugitive warrant for possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

Crystal Beth Arkansas, 37, of Hoot Owle Cove Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of capped needles, second degree trespass, misdemeanor larceny, second degree trespass. No bond was set. 

July 10

Albert Juarez, 28, of Big Burn Circle, was charged with sexual battery, assault on a female. No bond was set. 

James Lee Hughes, 50, of Dellwood Rd., Waynesville, was charged with failure to appear on driving while license revoked, expired registration card/tag, driving while impaired. A secured bond of $10,500 was set. 

Callie Louise-Elizabeth Jones, 25, of Hensley Cemetery Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for littering. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Julie Anne Smith, 51, of Holly Forest Lane, Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Corinna Susan DeGroff, 29, of Charley’s Creek, Tuckasegee, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. 

July 11

Alisha Elizabeth Holland, 32, of Edgewood Ave., Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for injury to personal property, possession of stolen goods, larceny. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

James Barry Henson, 51, of Calvary Church Rd., Otto, was charged with operating a vehicle with no insurance, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, drive left of center, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, canceled/revoked/suspended certificate/tag, habitual felon, expired registration card/tag, warrant for drive/allow motor vehicle with no registration, warrant for speeding, warrant for flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle, warrant for failure to stop at stop sign/flashing red light, warrant for fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag, warrant for driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, warrant for drive left of center, operate a vehicle with no insurance. A secured bond of $67,000 was set. 

Brian Elliott Teesateski, 43, of Massey Branch Rd., Robbinsville, was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting concealment of goods, larceny from a merchant by emergency door, larceny by anti-inventory device. A secured bond of $10,0000 was set. 

Kelly Rose West, 22, of Hidden Springs Dr., Bryson City, was charged with failure to appear for possession of heroin, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. 

Kaitlyn Ann Reyor, 24, of N. Ann St., Asheville, was charged with failure to appear for probation violation for out of county. A secured bond of $12,000 was set. 

April Nations, 33, of Stillwell Branch, Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for larceny of property or goods, conspiracy for obtaining property by false pretenses. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

 July 12

Keith Alan Ingraham, 65, of Azalea Motel, was charged with failure to appear for intimidating witness, maintain a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, conspire to  traffic opium or heroin, trafficking opium or heroin by transportation, trafficking opium or heroin by possession, sell a schedule II controlled substance. No bond was set. 

Telisha Cheyanne Hoyle, 32, of Tradewinds Lane, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. 

Pascual Cuatlayotl Tochihuitl, 45, of Key Hole Lane, Cullowhee, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $1,500 was set.
