The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests May 26 – June 10. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County – Sheriff’s Department 

June 4

Jessica Jayne Chase, 40, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest. 

Toni Brewer, 30, of Franklin, was charged with child support enforcement. No bond was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest. 

June 5

Candace Nicole Daves, 29, of Otto, was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest. 

Tyler Lee Watson, 27, of Otto, was charged with felony harboring an escapee. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest. 

Gale Carpenter Gribble, 62, of Franklin, was charged with forgery of instrument, obtain property by false pretense, exploit elder/disable trust, larceny. A secured bond of $35,000 was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest. 

June 6

Brittnay Lynn Jones, 21, of Franklin, was issued warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Christain M. Houston made the arrest. 

June 7

Jeremiah John Jones, 27, of Franklin, was charged with driving with license revoked. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

Tommy Lee Russell, 32, of Franklin, was issued a warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. An unsecured bond of $550 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

David Thomas Frank, 61, of Franklin, was charged with secretly peeping into room occupied by a female. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Ashley Suzette McClean, 35, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for fictitious information to an officer. A secured bond of $500 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

Heidi Louise Stone, 57, of Franklin, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest. 

June 8

James Hancock, 37, of Franklin, was charged with failure to work after being paid. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

June 9

Michael Wayne Hampton, 63, of Franklin, was charged with misuse of 911 system. A secured bond of $500 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Kelvin Gregg Dehart, 48, of Franklin, was charged with communicating threats. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Mike Langley Sr., made the arrest. 

June 10

Nathan Newman Sigman, 18, of Otto, was charged with injury to real property, misdemeanor larceny. A secured bond of $1,000 was set James E. Crawford III made the arrest. 

Michael Anthony Rowland Jr., 18, of Franklin, was charged with injury to real property, misdemeanor larceny. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

Catherine Mary O’Shea, 38, of White Oak Hill Dr., Seneca, S.C., was charged with failure to appear for reckless driving to endanger, driving while impaired. A secured bond of $5,000 was set.

James Ralph Brady, 52, of Betty Brady Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of stolen goods/property, obtain property by false pretense. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

May 28

Derek Todd Thomas, 57, of Indian Mound Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with injury to personal property, assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Robert Lee Cutlip, 31, of Walter Ashe Rd., was charged with battery of an unborn child, assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Daniel Wayne Warren, 36, of River Park Dr., Cullowhee, was charged with assault on a female, failure to appear for operating a vehicle with no insurance, cancel/revoked/suspended/certificate/tag, obtain property by false pretense, larceny of a motor vehicle. No bond was set. 

Melissa Nicole Townsend, 38, of Alman Rd., was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting. A secured bond of $500 was set.

Vernie Franklin Taylor, 58, of Scarey Branch Rd., Bryson City, was charged with failure to appear for second degree trespass, assault on a female, intoxicated and disruptive. A secured bond of $3,500 was set.  

Everett Joe Stewart, 63, of Wilmont Rd., Whittier, was charged with first degree statory sex offense. A secured bond of $150,000 was set. 

Jeremiah Israel Dementric Davis, 21, of Awi Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for consume alcohol by 19/20 year old. A secured bond of $250 was set. 

Mark Anthony Wood, 30, of Clay Haven Heights, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set.

Kenneth Earl Flinchum, 36, of US 441, Whittier, was charged with all other offenses.  No bond was set. 

Joseph Brandon Hall, 25, of Ferguson Rd., was charged with failure to pay child support. A $936.93 bond was set. 

Pascual Cuatlayotl Tochihuitl, 45, of Key Hole Lane, Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of heroin, driving while intoxicated, concealed weapon after/while consuming, possession of marijuana. A secured bond of $32,900 was set. 

Colby Edward Bennett, 25, of Grace Court, Tuckasegee, was charged with true bill of indictment for failure to appear on a felony. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. 

Heather Medford Haynes, 28, of Stiles Rd., Waynesville, was issued a true bill of indictment for obtaining property by false pretenses. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. 

Raymond Harold Bobbitt, 48, of Dix Creek Rd., was issued a true bill of indictment for habitual felon, misdemeanor assault. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. 

May 30

Melinda Earlene Howell, 47, of Wrights Creek Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A secured bond of $250 was set. 

Megan Dawn Wilnoty, 25, of Mary Jackson Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of schedule I controlled substance. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. 

Jacelyn Dalyla Shanelle Beck, 20, of Estella Teesatuskie Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of schedule I controlled substance. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set.

David Brandon Walker, 41, of Edward Fowler Rd., Cashiers, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Ramey Bruce Weaver, 40, of God Finch Dr., Whittier, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. 

Melissa Marie Loy, 41, of Edward Fowler Rd., Cashier, was charged with failure to appear for possession/displayed altered/fictious/revoked drivers license, driving while license revoked. A secured bond was set. 

Nicole Jeanette Gibson, 29, of Pumpkin Town Rd., was charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. 

Melody Sloane Pangle, 28, of Loco Hill Dr., was charged with misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods, possession of methamphetamine. An unsecured bond of $500 was set.

Timothy Michael Allison, 29, of Ela Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, carry a concealed weapon, A secured bond of $1,500 was set.

Tami Lynn Aucoin, 50, of Dark Ridge Rd., was charged with failure to appear for speeding, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Kayla Shayanna Hodock, 29, of Rose Bigwitch Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear on probation violation, larceny of a firearm, possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $10,500 was set. 

Adam Warren David Evitt, 30, of Windy Gap Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. 

Travis Levi Mathis, 26, of Posey Blanton Rd., was charged with felony larceny. No bond was set. 

June 3

Paul Anthony Namotka, 27, of Sparks Rd., was charged with injury to real property. A $500 bond was set. 

Jose Gomez, 33, of Arcadia Way, Glenville, was charged with child support purge order for Durham County. A $1,000 bond was set. 

Lehua Joan Walkingstick, 40, of Scotts Creek Rd., was charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. 

Jesus Eduardo Diaz, 31, of St. James, Cullowhee, was charged with injury to real property, resist/obstruct/delay. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. 

Patrick Anthony Cole, 21, of Point Dr., Cullowhee, was issued a true bill for possession with intent to manufacture a schedule I controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule I controlled substance. No bond was set. 

June 4

Alma Lynn Panther, 34, of Walking Snake Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for  operating a vehicle with no insurance, driving while license revoked not impaired. A secured bond of $1,000 was set.
