The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests June 17 – 24. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

June 17

Jason Jacob Tastinger, 33, of Franklin, was charged with drug violations for equipment/paraphernalia, possession of heroin. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.

June 18

Dana Marie Henry, 23, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for felony breaking and entering, larceny after breaking and entering. A secured bond of $20,000 bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

June 19

Tanner Rickman Scent, 36, of Franklin, was issued a true bill of indictment for conspire to traffic, felony aid and abet. A secured bond of $100,000 was set. Mike Langley made the arrest.

Richard Steven Willis, 34, of Highlands, was charged with contempt of court for failure to pay child support. A $1,134 bond was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Michael Travis Holland, 42, of Otto, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Nicole Jullian Wend, 36, of Franklin, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Lloyd Hall, 77, of Franklin, was charged with assault by pointing a gun, assault on a female. An unsecured bond of $4,000 was set. Joel Lynch made the arrest.

Aaron Cherise Parker, 36, of Franklin, was charged with simple physical assault. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Joel lynch made the arrest.

June 20

Bret Hugh Guy, 59, of Franklin, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

Jeffery Todd Sanders, 51, of Franklin, was charged with trespassing, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $21,000 was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest.

John Hoyt Atkinson, 26, of Franklin was charged with simple assault. An unsecured bond of $600 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

Jeffery Todd Bates, 38, of Franklin was charged with simple assault. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

Jason Robert Mock, 35, of Franklin, was charged with criminal damage to property for vandalism. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Richard Scott Parsons, 60, of Cullowhee, was charged with driving while impaired. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

Daniel Kenneth Dailey, 46, of Franklin, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

Jacqueline Helana Kidd, 33, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault, breaking and entering, assault on a person in the presence of a minor. No bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

Sheldon Trent Bateman, 42, of Topton, was charged with breaking or entering, assault on a female, communicating threats, first degree trespassing enter/remain. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Billy Richard Rhodes, 36, Kidnapping, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill, assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon with a minor present, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, resisting a public officer. No bond was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

June 19

Tony Dustin Bateman, 28, of Franklin, was charged with injury to personal property, intoxicated and disruptive. A secured bond of $650 was set. Devin E. Holland made the arrest.

Travis Keith Mathis, 40, of Oak Ridge Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, felony conspiracy, possessing/concealing stolen property, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering. A $40,000 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest.

Ashley Kay Heatherly, 31, of Rhodes Cove Rd., was charged with possessing/concealing stolen property, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering. A $40,000 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest.

Carter James Davis, 19, of High Lonesome Rd., Bryson City, was issued a true bill for assault causing serious bodily injury. No bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest.

Shena Dale Standing deer, 36, of Qualla Town Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for larceny of anti device, larceny, trespass, larceny, driving while impaired, possession of a controlled substance on jail premises. A $38,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

Hector C. Paulino, 33, of Hooker Rd., Wilmington, was charged with criminal damage to property for vandalism, intoxicated and disruptive. A $250 bond was set. Brandon D. Hooper made the arrest.
