The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests May 20 – June 4. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County – Sheriff’s Department 

May 24

Tavarus Rashad Barnhill, 23, of Ayden, was charged with conspiracy to commit common law robbery. A secured bond of $12,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Jeremy Lewis Petterson, 21, of Franklin, was charged with warrant service for offense committed out of jurisdiction. No bond was set. Cristian M. Houston made the arrest. 

May 25

Jeremiah John Jones, 27, of Franklin, was charged with driving while license revoked, operating a vehicle with no insurance, failure to secure passenger under 16 years old, drive/allow registration plate not displayed. An unsecured bond of $750 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

George Randall Berry, 54, of Atlanta, Ga., was charged with warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Christian M. Houston made the arrest. 

May 27

Damian Scott Harden, 24, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

Minnie Elizabeth Harden, 31, of Franklin, was charged with misdemeanor breaking and entering, simple assault. No bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

May 28

Antonio Garcia Garcia, 29, of Franklin, was charged with assault inflicting serious injury, assault on a female. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest. 

Travis Aron Zepeda, 22, of Cullowhee, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $5,500 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

May 29

April Renee Burd, 26, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and entering. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest. 

May 30

Michael Wayne Hampton, 63, of Franklin, was charged with destruction/damage/vandalism of property. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

May 31

William Dale Sheffield, 40, of Franklin, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer, assault on individual with disability, assault causing physical injury to law enforcement/probation/parole officer, interfering with electrical monitor device, false imprisonment, assault with a deadly weapon. A secured bond of $35,000 was set. Clay A Saunders made the arrest. 

June 1

Kady Weed, 25, of Franklin, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

Eric Daniel Holland, 36, of Franklin, was charged with failure to inform of new changes to online identifier. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

June 2

Chandler Reed Stanley, 24, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

Carl K. Floyd, 29, of Franklin, was charged with drug/narcotic violations, drug equipment violations, obstructing of a law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

June 3

Ronald William Weber, 55, of Gainesville, Ga., was charged with driving while impaired, speeding. A secured bond of $500 was set. David Blanton made the arrest. 

June 4

Pamela Ansley McCall, 20, of Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for criminal summons or citation. A secured bond of $500 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest. 

Franklin Police Department

May 24

Rebecca Elise Brown, 27, of Franklin, was charged with trespass of real property. A secured bond of $400 was set. D. S. Cabe made the arrest. 

Alyson Denise Lambert, 36, of Rose McCoy Dr., Cherokee, was charged with all other larceny. An unsecured bond of $550 was set. D. S. Cabe made the arrest. 

James Daniel York, 53, of Franklin, was charged with trespassing. A secured bond of $500 was set. T. J. Lynn made the arrest. 

May 25

Ryan David Finn, 38, of Old Highlands Rd., was charged with felony flee to elude, careless and reckless driving with wanton disregard, careless and reckless driving to endanger, speeding 120 mph in 55 mph zone, speed in excess of 65 mph over posted speed limit, speed in excess of 55 mph over the posted limit, expired inspection, improper passing on the right, expired registration. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. R. S. Dula made the arrest. 

May 28

Luther Victory Stinett IV, 25, of 4 Wheel Dr., was charged with all other larceny. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. C. M. Evans made the arrest. 

Tracy Lynn Hood, 44, of Franklin, was charged with assault and battery. A secured bond of $500 was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest. 

May 30

Preston Michael English, 38, of Dandelion Lane, Clayton, Ga., was charged with all other offenses. No bond was set. D. E. Holland made the arrest. 

June 2

Dennis Paul Kramber, 41, of Lopes Loop, was charged with possession of firearm by a felon, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. A. C. Stahl made the arrest. 

Robert David Burch, 43, of Franklin, was charged with possession of firearm by a felon, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, carrying a concealed gun, carrying a concealed weapon. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. J. M. Norman made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

May 20

Joseph Rick Seay, 36, of Sydney Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting concealment of goods, second degree trespass, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $7,500 was set. 

Kristopher Chance Roman Carpenter, 30, of Forest St., Asheville, was charged with misdemeanor drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana paraphernalia, misdemeanor possession of marijuana 1/2 to 1 and 1/2 oz, felony possession of methamphetamine, obtain property by false pretense identity theft. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

May 21

Enoc Hernandez Alvarado, 18, of Siesta Lane, Tuckasegee, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Blake Michael Wilson, 18, of Cope Creek Rd., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set.  

Larry Allen Watson, 41, of Cheerful Cove Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. 

Joseph Michael Cyphers, 28, of Old Murphy Rd., Franklin, was issued an order for arrest for assault with a deadly weapon on a government official, elude arrest with  a motor vehicle, probation violation, resist/obstruct and delay. A secured bond of $41,500 was set. 

Justin Ryan Burton, 25, of Dumplin Flats, was charge with second degree trespass. No bond was set. 

May 22

Christy Michelle Goodson,  36, of Laser Dr., was charged with failure to appear for child abuse. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. 

May 23

Christopher Adam Jones, 35, of Bates Branch Rd., Franklin, was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

May 24

Derrick Eli Elliot, 28, of Bart Cove Rd., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Jose Antonio Contreras Rios, 27, of Cope Creek Rd., was charged with failure to appear for possession/displayed altered/fictitious/revoked drivers license, no operators license. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Isaac Ishmail Rivers, 41, of Hampton St., was charged with failure to appear for trespassing. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Richard Burgess Kinsey, 31, of Pine Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with felony larceny, misdemeanor larceny, driving while license revoked. An unsecured bond of $3,000 was set. 

May 25

Michael Lewis Clark, 45, of Cullowhee, was charged with violation of domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. 

May 26

Daniel James West, 39, of Simpson Welch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with impede steady flow of traffic dual-lane highway, resist/obstruct/delay public officer discharge duties. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Johnson Lloyd Sequoyah, 37, of Rec Park Rd., Cherokee, was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $1,500 was set.
