Arrests for March 14, 2019

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests March 1 – 10. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County – Sheriff’s Department 

March 1

Katrina Zoah Rebecca Bottoms, 23, of Franklin, was charged with warrant service for offenses committed in jurisdiction. A $10,000 bond was set. David F. Head made the arrest. 

March 4

Melissa Lynn Pruett, 33, of Franklin, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny, possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

March 5

Kayla Shayanna Hadock, 28, of Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Jessica Jayne Chase 40, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked not impaired revocation. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. David Blanton made the arrest. 

March 7

Rebecca Anamary Hill, 34, of Franklin was charged with resisting a public officer, carrying concealed weapon, A secured bond of $2,000 was set.  Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

Christopher Harry McCord, 37, of Franklin, was charged with warrant Service for offense committed in jurisdiction. No bond was set. 

Amy Poole, 30, of Cleveland Ga., was charged with drug/narcotic violations. No bond was set. David F. Head made the arrest. 

Robert Edwin Wright 71, of Spartanburg, S.C., was charged with intoxicated and disruptive, disorderly conduct, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest.  

Franklin Police Department

March 5

Anthony Vincent Alos, 33, of Roy Cook Rd, was charged with assault inflicting serious injury, second degree trespass, An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. A. C. Stahl made the arrest. 

March 8

Seth Alexander White, 28, of Country Rd., was charged with felony possession of schedule VI controlled substance.  An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. M. G. Pellicer made the arrest. 

March 9

Elaine Estes Young, 73, of Heritage Lane, was charged with bad checks. A secured bond of $500 was set. M. G. Pellicer made the arrest. 

March 10

Matthew Delmar Hall, 45, of Coweeta Lake Circle, Otto, was issued a warrant for arrest. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

March 4

Jeremy Richard Black,  40, of Platen St., was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, possession of stolen motor vehicle. A $7,500 was set. 

Steven Eugene Voyles, 30, of Acree Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked. A $1,700 bond was set.

Devin Charles Grady, 23, of Weeping Willow Lane, Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for obtaining property by false pretense, possession of stolen goods/property. A $7,500 bond was set. 

March 5

Tad Norman Thompson, 44, of Norman Dr., was charged with domestic criminal trespass, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering forcible. No bond was set. 

Jesus Eduardo Diaz, 31, of Old Cullowhee, Cullowhee, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation. A $7,500 bond was set. 

Ralph Neal Barber, 19, of Derby Trail Cummings, Ga., was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A $1,200 bond was set. 

Timothy Scott Lawrence, 31, of Old Cullowhee, Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A $1,000 bond was set. 

Alexandrea Nichole Carpenter, 22, of Redwing Vista, Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for larceny by changing price tag. A $750 bond was set. 

Nieve D. Rosa, 17, of Harp Dr., Cashiers, was charged with failure to appear for disorderly conduct. A $750 bond was set. 

Samuel Shane Cook, 46, of Lewis Cove Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Brandi Nicole Freeman, 34, of Payne North Rd., Alto, Ga., was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Sara Beth Wilson, 45, of Sylva Hwy, Franklin was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $500 bond was set. 

Timothy Scott Lawrence, 31, of Old Cullowhee, Cullowhee, was charged with larceny of a motor vehicle. A $2,500 bond was set. 

March 6

Travis Lindsey Heffner, 25, of Paniolo Dr., was charged with failure to appear for possession  of marijuana paraphernalia, simple possession of schedule VI controlled substance. A $250 bond was set. 

Jesse Doyle Buchanan, 39, of Trade Winds Lane, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $250 bond was set. 

Amanda Mechelle Downs, 32, of Main St., Bryson City, was charged with failure to appear breaking and entering. A $21,500 bond was set. 

Cory Clyde Keith Case, 30, of Huckleberry Cove Rd., was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Adam Michael Diaz, 29, of Riverbend Rd., was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $500 bond was set. 

Joseph Brandon Hall, 25, of Ferguson Rd., was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $500 bond was set. 

Vernie Franklin Taylor, 57, of Washingtons Creek, Cherokee, was charged with communicating threats, disorderly conduct in public building/facility. A $500 bond was set. 

March 7

Scotty Lee Nelson, 35, of Union Hill Rd., Whittier, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. 

Angel Denise Jolley, 35, of Bennett Rd., Morganton, was charged with defrauding an innkeeper, issued a true bill for failure to appear for felony, indictment for possession of a firearm by a felon. A $15,000 bond was set. 

Joseph Rick Seay, 36, of Arrowood Rd., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $2,500 bond was set. 

Warren Harding Crowe, 39, of Super Crowe Rd., Cherokee, was charged with destruction/damage of property. No bond was set. 

Michael Dustin Brooks, 33, of Mosaic Lane, was issued a true bill of indictment for habitual felon. No bond was set. 

March 8

William David McCoy, 31, of Touchstone Way, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $500 bond was set. 

Lakisha Nicole Walkingstick, 24, of Eden Lane, was charged with driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A $7,000 bond was set. 

Gabriel Isaac Baumgarner, 36, of Cashiers, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $2,500 bond was set. 

Aveil Gwendolene Bowens, 44, of Grady Wiggins Dr., Otto, was charged with regulation of midwifery. A $500 bond was set. 

March 9

Annette Marie Blackwell, 39, of Island Ford Rd., Inman, S.C., was charged with aid and abet property by false pretense, identity theft, obtain property by false pretense, financial card fraud, larceny, obtain property by false pretense. A $21,500 bond was set. 

Jeremy Michael Reed, 25, of Timberlane, Clayton, Ga., was charged  with impersonating an emergency vehicle. A $5,000 bond was set. 

March 10

Jeffery Duane Childers, 37, of Rushing Rapids, Cullowhee, was charged with violation of domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. 

Justin Ryana Burton, 25, of River Park, Cullowhee, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Adam Dwayne Montelongo, 29, of Bertha Saunooke Heights, Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. A $15,000 bond was set.

Adam Michael Diaz, 29, of Onedia Dr., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for  reckless driving to endanger, driving while license revoked. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Brent James Lossiah, 26, of Wally Welch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $500 bond was set.
