The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests  March 18 – 24. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

March 19

Jason Robert Mock, 36, of Franklin, was charged with violating domestic violence protective order violation. A $1,000 bond was set. Clay A. Sanders made the arrest. 

Thomas Allen Waldroop, 31, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, breaking and entering. A $5,000 bond was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

Cindy Ann Calagan, 28, of Franklin, was charged with possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, breaking and entering, trespass of real property, failure to appear. An unsecured bond of $11,000 bond was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

Berta De La Cruz, 45, of Highlands, was charged with larceny. An unsecured bond of $600 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

March 20

Lymon Winford Brown Jr., 51, of Highlands, was charged with break or enter a motor vehicle, larceny after break/enter. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest. 

William Gumar Ramos, 27, of Highlands, was charged with warrant service for offenses committed in jurisdiction. No bond was set. David F. Head made the arrest. 

Kylie Elizabeth Bates, 18, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for criminal summons. A secured bond of $500 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest. 

Heather Deanna Mathis, 28, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A secured bond of $6,500 was set. 

March 21

Jerome Patrick Brown, 30, of Franklin, was charged with warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. No bond was set. Joseph A. Raby made the arrest. 

Matt Dillan Laws, 24, of Sylva, was charged with warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. David F. Head made the arrest. 

Travis Aron Zepeda, 22, of Cullowhee, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, carrying a concealed weapon, driving while license revoked not impaired. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

March 22

Phillip Lawrence Buchanan, 56, of Franklin, was charged with misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods/property. A $2,500 bond was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Jonathan Wade Hurst, 21, of Franklin, was charged with cyberstalking. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

March 23

Brandy Lynn Mills, 39, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Franklin Police Department

March 18

Matthew Davis Harder, 24, of Roller Mill Rd., was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting. A secured bond of $250 bond was set. J. M. Norman made the arrest. 

March 20

Nicholas Harley Cleaves, 16, of Cook St., was charged with failure to comply with conditions of release arrestable restrictions. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. D. E. Holland made the arrest.

March 22

Richard Lee Davis, 33, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for possession of alcoholic beverage. A secured bond of $500 was set. J.M. Norman made the arrest. 

March 24

Ernesto Ortega Rangel, 43, of Fairlane Dr,, was charged with no operators license, reckless driving. A secured bond of $500 was set. M. G. Pellicer made the arrest. 

Manjustice Sireece Uzzell, 20, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. A. C. Stahl made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

March 18

Shawna Kimberly Wallace, 43, of Ferguson Rd., was charged with failure to appear for habitual felon. A $100,000 bond was set. 

Randy Topez Stewart, 44, of Granad St., Asheville, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of heroin. A $5,000 bond was set. 

March 19

James Tyler Griffin, 27, of Searcy Mtn. Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $500 bond was set. 

March 20

Jesse Lonnie Harkins, 29, of Mill Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering forcible, resisting a public officer fictitious information to officer, probation violation, possession of drug paraphernalia, larceny of a firearm, possession of stolen goods/property, motor vehicle theft, extradition of fugitive from other state. A $25,000 bond was set. 

Ashley Elizabeth Hooper, 31, of Walton Dr., was charged with probation violation. A $1,000 bond was set. 

Amber June Franks, 19, of Cabe Rd., was charged with larceny by employee. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Travis Wayne Fisher, 23, of Norman Dr., was charged with injury to personal property, misdemeanor child abuse, assault with a deadly weapon. A $2,500 bond was set. 

March 21

Tracy Ann Rogers, 52, of Indian Mound Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with resist a public officer. A $250 bond was set. 

Graham Ansel Medford, 27, of Yellow Hill Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor aid and abet larceny, misdemeanor larceny. A $1,000 bond was set. 

Nathan Daniel Wood, 25, of Cabins In The Woods, was charged with injury to real property, attempted breaking and entering. A $500 bond was set.

Donna Gail Jones, 61, of Allman Rd., was charged with failure to appear for animal control ordinance violation. A $250 bond was set. 

Johnson Lloyd Sequoyah, 36, of Hwy 28, Bryson City, was charged with failure to appear for possession of stolen goods. A $10,500 bond was set. 

Taylor Norman Taylor, 18, of Recreation Park Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of stolen goods. 

Graham Ansel Medford, 27, of Yellow Hill Rd., Cherokee, was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses, felony possession of stolen goods, financial card theft, misdemeanor larceny, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle forcible. A $2,000 bond was set. 

March 22

Amanda Dawn Beck, 29, of Levi Mathis Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, hit/run failure to stop property damage, failure to reduce speed, felony probation violation. A $12,000 bond was set. 

Baron Houston Sutton, 32, of Levi Mathis Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear, probation violation. A $16,000 bond was set. 

March 23

Dana Marie Henry. 23, of Kings Rd., Franklin, was charged with felony probation violation, failure to appear for larceny after break/enter. A $10,000 bond was set. 

 March 24

Travis Michael Sutton,  30, of Penn St., was charged with misdemeanor child abuse, assault on a female. No bond was set.
