The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests May 7 – 19. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County – Sheriff’s Department 

May 14

Jessy Dakota Beaver, 25, of Franklin, was charged with child support enforcement contempt. A $290 bond was set. Matthew Canzone made the arrest.  

Brandon William Holland, 29, was charged with felony probation violation. A secured bond of $8,000 was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest. 

Anteus Vladimir Autiav, 38, was charged with assault by strangulation, assault on a female, false imprisonment, sexual battery. No bond was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

Rickie Lynn Antes, 27, was charged with failure to appear. A $250 bond was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

May 15

Michael Bruce Thompson, 51, of Franklin, was charged with statutory sex offense with child 15 or under. A secured bond of $250,000 was set. Joseph A. Raby made the arrest. 

William Dale Sheffield, 40, of Franklin, was charged with communicating threats. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

May 16

Jason Robert Mock, 36, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $500 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest. 

Waylon Robert Wood, 21, of Franklin, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Audry Parrish made the arrest. 

May 20

Rebecca Jean Dills, 33, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault, second degree trespass. No bond was set. 

Jacob Lee Ainsworth, 41, of Otto, was charged with a domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest. 

John Robert Potts, 55, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $500 was set. Steppanie Robbins made the arrest. 

Franklin Police Department

May 7

Alan Scott Corbin, 49, of Ulco Dr., was charged with driving while license suspended/revoked. No bond was set. D. S. Cabe made the arrest. 

May 10

Dustin Wayne Waldroop, 34, of Orchard View Dr., was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, following to closely, fail to maintain lane control. a secured bond of $2,000 was set. R. S. Dula made the arrest. 

Richard Lee Davis, 33, of Franklin, was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting a public officer. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. T. J. Lynn made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

May 13

Mary Ashley Cole, 30, of Ridge Rd., Glenville, was charged with larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering forcible, possession of stolen property. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

May 14

Rayelita Dawn Long, 26, of Big Witch Rd., Cherokee, was charge with possession of drug paraphernalia, failure to appear for possession with intent ot manufacture/sell/deliver heroin, driving while license revoked not impaired, driving while impaired. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. 

Whisper Nicole Cogdill, 25, of Hwy 107, Glenville, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property. No bond was set. 

Chasity Lynn Austin, 26, of Homespun Rd., was charged with possession of stolen goods/property. No bond was set. 

Chaz James Brian Hodgins, 28, of Long Branch Church Rd., was charged with possession of stolen goods/property. No bond was set. 

May 15

Jessica Irene Jones, 33, of Sylva, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Dora Carolyn Webb, 57, of Whiteside Cove Rd., Highlands, was charged with fugitive from state of Georgia for probation violation. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Tristin Byrd Flying, 21, of Galbraith Creek Rd., Bryson City, was charged wit failure to appear for consume alcohol by 19/20 year old. A $250 bond was set. 

May 16

William Michael Creasman, 39, of Alarka Rd., Bryson City, was charged with expired registration card/tag, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, first degree trespass, breaking or entering. A secured bond of $1,200 bond was set. 

Whisper Nicole Cogdill, 25, of Huckleberry Cove Rd., was charged with aiding and abetting larceny. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. 

Chasity Lynn Austin, 26, of Homespun Rd., was charged with aid and abet larceny. A $250 bond was set. 

Chaz James Brian Hodgins, 27, of Hayfield Dr., was charged with child support purge, larceny. A $500 bond was set. 

 May 17

Johnnie Rae Arch, 46, of Sparks Dr., was charged with assault on a female. 

Cody Ryan Perry, 23, of Thornhill Dr., was charged with failure to appear for obtain property by false pretense, possession of counterfeit instrument. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. 

John Albert Bigwitch, 40, of Rosie Bigwitch Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for obtain property by false pretense. A secured bond of $7,500 was set. 

May 18

Justin Ryan Burton, 25, of Dumplin Flats, was charged with assault on a female, no bond was set. 

Jessie Leanne Shelton, 32, of Ferree Rd., Campobelle, S.C., was charged with first degree trespass. A secured bond of $100 was set. 

James Chrisopher Evans, 33, of Omega Dr., Gastonia, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. 

May 19

Chaz James Brian Hodgins, 28, of Long Branch Church Rd., was charged wit child support purge. A $1,000 bond was set. 

Samantha Lynn Gunter, 28, of Shady Lane, Bryson City, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation out of county, felony probation violation, felony probation violation. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. 

Jackson Samuel Wolfe, 31, of Amble Wolfe Rd., Cherokee, was charged with second degree trespass. A secured bond of $500 was set.
