Arrests for May 9, 2019

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests April 26 – May 5. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

April 30

Leonard Kevin Teague Jr. 31, of Franklin, was charged with communicating threats. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Chelsea Heaton, 28, of Franklin, was charged with assault and battery. No bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

May 1

Charles Daniel Medlock, 23, of Franklin, was charged with identity theft, financial card fraud, misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $100,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest. 

Erica Nicole Nicholson, 27, of Franklin, was charged with  resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer, failure to appear for release order. A secured bond of $18,000 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest. 

May 3

Kenneth Dee McClain, 28, of Franklin, was charged with fugitive for out of state felony. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Camelita May Pike, 23, of Otto, was charged with fugitive out of state felony, breaking and entering misdemeanor, obtaining property by false pretense. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Ryan Marcus Sharrett, 35, of Franklin, was charged with obtaining property by false pretense, child support enforcement contempt. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

May 5

David Cameron Holland, 42, of Franklin, was charged with assault by pointing a gun, communicating threats. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest.

April 26

Saysh Ray Hobbs,  32, of Artist Haven Lane, was charged with traffick in opium or heroin by selling, traffick in opium or heroin by possessing, traffick in opium or heroin by transporting, resisting a public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance. A secured bond of $50,000 was set. 

Charles Robert Bumgarner, 30, of Bo Cove Rd., Cullowhee, was issued an order for arrest for failure to appear for aid and abet impaired driving. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Corinne Ramos, 51, of Dick Creek Rd., Whitttier, was issued an order for arrest for failure to appear for expired registration, driving while license revoked not impaired. A secured bond of $500 was set.                          

James Richard Walkingstick,   39, of  Fantasia, was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor probation violation. A secured bond of $17,000 was set.  

Brian Lee Mashburn,  31, of West Old Murphy Rd., Franklin, was issued a true bill of indictment for habitual impaired driving. A $10,000 bond was set.                                                                                                                         

April 27

Maricela Consuela Sanchez, 27, of Old Soco Rd., Cherokee, was charged with felony probation violation. A secured bond of $45,000 was set. 

April 28

John Dustin Hall, 42, of Leatherwood Rd., was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. No bond was set. 

April 29

Jere Keith Queen, 57, of Brittle Bark Rd., was charged with resisting a public officer, assault on a female, destruction/damage to property, possession of  firearm by a felon, assault by show of violence, assault by pointing a gun, second degree kidnapping. No bond was set. 

Jerry Trevan Smith, 23, of Beck Branch Rd., Whittier, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Joshua Brier Nations, 21, of Old Cullowhee Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for fugitive from other state. A $20,000 bond was set. 

April 30

Nicholas Antonie Gholston,  36, of Cherokee, was charged with misdemeanor probation violation. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. 

Larry Allen Watson, 41, of Cheerful Cove Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, simple possession of merijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule II oxycodone hydrochlocide, possession of schedule IV, alprazolam, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, driving while license revoked. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. 

Michael William Rhinehart, 47, of Sugar Fork Rd., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (non-marijuana), possession of methamphetamine. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. 

May 1

Brooke Leighann Smith, 23, of Hazel Saunoke Dr., Cherokee, was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. 

Barbara ,Jean Carver, 30, of Stevenson Cove Rd., Waynesville, was charged with failure to appear for larceny of motor vehicle. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. 

Kihrie William Holmes, 24, of N. Yardkin Ave., Spencer, was charged with no motorcycle endorsement, failure to appear for driving while license revoked, misdemeanor probation violation for out of county, misdemanor probation violations, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, resisting a public officer, conspire to sell/deliver heroin, carrying a concealed weapon-gun. A secured bond of $20,500 was set. 

Jordan Rae Wolfe, 24, of Rachel Watty Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of controlled substance prison/jail premise, possession of drug paraphernalia, conspire to sell/deliver heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin, posssession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule I controlled substance. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. 

Brittany Caitlin Flannery, 26, of possession of drug paraphernalia, conspire to sell/deliver heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule I controlled substance, possession of stolen vehicle. A secured bond of $10,000 was set.  

Muquan Bashier Ali Kennedy, 24, of Double J. Lane, Salsibury, was charged with conspire to sell/deliver heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule I controlled substance. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. 

Melinda Earlene Howell, 47, of Wrights Creek Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controled substance, possession with intent to manufactue/sell/deliver a schedule VI controlled substance. A secured bond of $50,000 was set. 

Richard Malcombe Webb, 29, of N. Ann St., Asheville, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Draig Allen Lackey, 34, of Petunia Lane, was charged with larceny, breaking and entering. A secured bond of $10,000  was set. 

Juarez Armando, 46, of NA Drive West, Pisgah Forest, was charrged with no operators license, driving under the influence. 

May 2

Jacob Nathaniel Bigwitch, 22, of Old Mission Estates, was charged with failure to appear for possession of stolen goods,  breaking and entering. A secured bond of $23,000 was set.  

May 3

William Bryan Mancy, 29, of Slim Dillard Rd., was charged with injury to personal property, communicating threats, assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Kevin Woody Johnson, 33, of Fisher Branch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A $250 bond was set. 

Ivan Peter Shires, 19, of Fletcher Hooper Rd., Robbinsville, was charged with access government computers to obtain property. An unsecured bond of $15,000 was set. 

 May 4

Audrey Cassandra Moore, 49, of Locust St., Greenville, was charged wtih failure to appear for second degree trespass. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Telisha Cheyanne Hoyle, 32, of Tradewinds Lane, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $1,500 bond was set. 

Collin Coleman Orr, 16, of Packway Rd., Balsam Grove, was charged with conspire to commit felony larceny, possession of stolen motor vehicle, larceny of motor vehicle. An unsecured bond of $10,000 was set. 

Charles Alden Brooks, 17, of Long Branch Church Rd., was charged with conspire to commit felony larceny, possession of stolen motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle. An unsecured bond of $10,000 was set.
