The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests October 30 – November 11. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County – Sheriff’s Department 

November 5

Neal Ray Moore II, 42, of Franklin, was charged with probation violation. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

Jeffery Scott Johnson, 48, of Franklin, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property, breaking and entering, larceny, obtaining property by false pretenses. A secured bond of $30,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest.

Dalton Keith Bates, 26, of Franklin, was issued warrant service. A secured bond of $105,500 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest.

Leslie Codi Smith 30, of Sylva, was charged with warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

Bill Price, 49, of Franklin, was charged with domestic protective order violation. No bond was set. 

November 6

Richard Steven Willis, 36, of Franklin, was charged with child support enforcement contempt. A $2,606 bond was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

November 7

Brandon Jacob Oteri, 29, of Franklin, was issued an indictment. A secured bond of $24,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

November 8

Jeremy Edward Stepp, 27, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $500 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Kristopher Erik Prince, 27, of Franklin, was charged with fugitive, out of state, felony, first degree forgery. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Rebecca Anamary Hill, 35, of Sylva, was issued warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest. 

Rhonda S. Crisp, 49, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault, injury to personal property. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

November 9

Jeffery Todd Sanders, 52, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Joseph A. Raby made the arrest. 

Silvana Lisa Bettencourt, 41, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. Joseph A. Raby made the arrest. 

November 10

Jayson Kole Carter, 21, of Highlands, was charged with trespassing, burglary/breaking and entering. A secured bond of $500 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest. 

Phillip Tyrone Johnson, 26, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest. 

Kimberly Danielle Lee, 30, of Franklin, was issued warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction.  A secured bond of $6,000 was set. Joseph A. Raby made the arrest. 

November 11

Crigan Stan Wildcat, 38, of Cherokee, was charged with first degree trespass. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

Nathan James Smith, 30, of Franklin, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. An unsecured bond was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest. 

Anthony Christopher Beaver, 23, of Franklin, was charged with possession of heroin,  possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest.

November 5

Jacob Lee Norris, 28, of Omega Hills Lane, was issued a true bill of indictment for forgery. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Brett Daniel Willard, 25, of Bidwell St., was charged with damage to property. A $1,000 bond was set. 

November 8

Oscar Daniel Mendoza-Garcia, 20, of Belleview Rd., was charged with possession of firearm altered serial number, unsafe lane change, no operators license. A $5,000 bond was set. 

Robert James Anglin, 38, of Roller Mill Rd., was charged with driving under the influence. A $1,500 bond was set. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

November 4

Cory Clyde Keith Case, 30, of N. Hwy, Glenville, was charged with civil contempt child support purge. A $500 bond was set. 

Charles Randy Hughes, 62, of Shoal Creek Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. 

Christopher Todd Jones, 33, of Cloudy Valley Rd., was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. 

Alen Ray Bradley, 31, of Sugar Creek Rd., Weaverville, was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine, felony probation violation. A secured bond of $4,500 was set. 

Credence Isaiah Aust, 18, of Wike Cemetery Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with larceny by an employee. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. 

Shawn Robert Swain, 25, of Cullowhee, was charged with assault, attempted larceny. No bond was set. 

November 5

Austin Moody Terril Rattler, 24, of Cabe Rd., was charged with failure to appear for traffic opium or heroin by possession, trafficking opium or heroin. No bond was set. 

Shawn Lee Rich, 48, of Vero Mountain, was wanted by U.S. Marshalls federal probation violation. No bond was set.

Sheyenne Victoria McClellan,  20, of Woodpecker Lane, was charged with failure to appear for injury to real property. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

November 7

Tyler Randolpheugene Williams, 34, of Hiwassie River Rd., Murphy, was charged with resist obstruct/ delay, littering less than 15 pounds. A secured bond of $200 was set. 

Kenneth Lee Maney, 42, of Old Soco Rd., Cherokee, was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver a schedule VI controlled substance, obtaining property by false pretenses. A secured bond of $5,000 was set.  

Daniel Lewis Potts, 27, of Sylva, was charged with failure to appear for possession of stolen goods/property, misdemeanor larceny. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

 November 8

Jerry Ray King,  46, of Haskett Rd., was charged with civil contempt for child support purge, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation. A $250 bond was set. 

Terry Lee Wolfe, 33, of Gallamore Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. 

Dennis Lewis Bumgarner, 40, of Too How Rd., Whittier, was charged with conspire to sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance. A secured bond of $50,000 was set. 

Elizabeth Faye Lenore Rivera, 23, of Too How Rd., Whittier, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay, aggravated assault with deadly weapon, probation violation. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. 

Austin Cody Fuller, 22, of Too How Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for reckless driving to endanger, fail to heed light or siren, flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. 

Emily Anne Johnson, 23, of Too How Rd., Whittier, was charged with maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, conspire to sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance, conspire to traffic methamphetamine. A secured bond of $50,000 was set. 

Anthony Scott Moffitt, 50, of Mill Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with simple assault, assault on a female.  An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. 

Tammy Rena’ Welsbach, 60, of Country Club Dr., Cullowhee, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay, communicating threats. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. 

November 9

Chazy James Brian Hodgens, 28, of Long Branch Church Rd., was charged with failure to appear for breaking and entering, larceny after break/enter. A secured bond of $4,000 was set. 

Jamal Alexander Skelton, 27, of Seaway Dr., Lansing, MI, was charged with failure to appear for civil revocation driver license, driving while impaired, reckless driving to endanger, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. 

Grant Emerson Simpkins, 21, of Sedgewick Rd., Indian Trail, was charged with driving under the influence, driving after consuming. No bond was set. 

Jessie Lee Ketterman, 26, of Cedar Way, Highlands, was charged with drive left of center, failure to wear seatbelt, driving while license revoked, flee to elude motor vehicle. No bond was set. 

November 10

Brian Elliott Teesateskie, 43, of Massey Branch Rd., Robbinsville, was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor larceny. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Luis Aguirre, 38, of Tsali Crossing, Cherokee, was charged with no liability insurance, fail to stop for stop sign, no operators license, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. An unsecured bond of $3,000 was set. 

Trevor Scott Broom, 21. of Legend Lane, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set.
