Arrests for October 3, 2019

The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests September 23 – 30. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

September 30

Michael Anthony Rowland Jr., 19, of Franklin, was charged with driving while license revoked, driving vehicle not registered or titled, no liability insurance. A secured bond of $1,500 was set. Clay A Saunders made the arrest.

Kyle Jordan Jenkins, 25, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, misdemeanor death by vehicle. A secured bond of $5,500 was set.  William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

September 23

Robert Kevin Brown, 32, of Hampton St., was charged with communicating threats, failure to appear for felony probation violation. No bond was set. 

Keith Allen Ingraham, 65, of Azalea Motel. was issued a true bill of indictment for failure to appear on felony. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. 

Travis Scott Holden, 23, of Alvin Deitz Rd., was issued a true bill of indictment. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. 

September 24

Thomas Glenn Mancini, 39, of Sylva, was charged with violation of domestic violence protective order. No bond was set. 

Albert Juarez, 28, of Big Burn Circle, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. 

Heather Nicole Steele, 26, of East Hall Heights, was charged with failure to appear for  retail theft, conspiracy to commit felony larceny, misdemeanor probation violation. A secured bond of $7,500 was set. 

Buford William Smith, 47, of Beck Branch, Whittier, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property, misdemeanor larceny. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Rebecca Lee Cedillo, 33, of Little Rock Circle, was charged with indictment for common law obstruction of justice. An unsecured bond of $10,000 was set. 

September 25

Danny Ray Johnson, 37, of Walter Ashe Rd., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Darin Ray Talley, 31, of Bizmark Loop, was issued a warrant for arrest for misdemeanor larceny, resisting a public officer, child support purge. A $3,245.29 bond was set.

April Nations, 34, of Bradley Dr., Cherokee, was charged writh failure to appear for larceny, resist arrest. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

September 26

Justin Charles Brooks, 36, of Mimosa Lane, was issued a warrant for arrest for changing price tag. A $1,000 bond was set. 

Larry James Miller, 38, of Yellow Hill Rd., Cherokee, was issued an order for arrest for possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, shoplifting concealment of goods for Haywood County. A secured bond of $2,100 was set. 

Whisper Nicole Cogdill, 26, of Huckleberry Cove Rd., was charged with misdemeanor larceny, theft from coin operated machine or device. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. 

 

September 27

David Todd Loftis, 30, of Camp Creek Rd., Whittier, was charged with possession of fictitious/altered license plate, obtaining property by false pretenses, possession of stolen vehicle, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. 

Brittanee Lyn George, 34, of Big Cove Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for assault on a government official, second degree trespass, resisting a public officer. A secured bond of $1,000 was set.  

Charles Robert Bumgarner, 30, of Bo Cove Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for aid and abet driving while intoxicated, simple assault.  A $500 bond was set. 

September 28

Marie Jean Moore, 37, of Snowdrift Lane, was issued a child support purge arrest order for Macon County.  A $2,302 bond was set. 

Israel Morales Martinez, 47, of Neal Bryson Rd., Cashiers, was charged with failure to appear for driving while intoxicated. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Sierra Delilah Galaydick, 18, of Stedman Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for injury to real property. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Asua Daniel Myers, 18, of Old Number 4 Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for injury to real property. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

September 29

Ryan Nicholas Courtemanch, 32, of Mary Lane, Cherryville, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule III controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell or deliver a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession with intent ot sell or deliver a schedule I controlled substance. maintain a vehicle/dwelling place for the sell or deliver of a controlled substance, flee to elude arrest with a motor vehicle. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

Michael Wayne Walkingstick, 36, of Kanott Dr., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting concealment of goods, second degree trespass, damage to property, larceny remove, misdemeanor larceny. A secured bond of $1,200 was set.
