The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests October  20 – 27. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

October 24

Christopher Scott Flowers, 34, of Highlands, was issued warrant service for offense committed in jurisdiction. A secured bond of $500 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.

Dwight Enoch Hawkins Jr., 27, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

October 25

Robert Shane Laws, 33, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Anthony Hopkins made the arrest. 

Crescencio Ramirez, 36, of Franklin, was charged with communicating threats. An unsecured bond of $1,500 was set. Kimberly Osborne made the arrest. 

Tommy Lee King, 21, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female, misdemeanor larceny, assault with a deadly weapon. No bond was set. Troy L. Burt made the arrest. 

October 26

Megan Elizabeth Thomas, 34, of Franklin, was charged with driving while license revoked. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. Joseph A. Raby made the arrest. 

October 28

Paul Mitchell Shirley, 50, of Franklin, was charged with violating domestic violence protective order. No bond was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest.

October 22

Weston Darwin Lawrence, 25, of Ray Cheek Rd., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Oscar Sarmiento, 40, of Fred Smith Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with assault on another person in presence of a child, assault on a female. A $500 bond was set.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

October 20

Christopher Todd Jones, 33, of Cloudy Valley Rd., was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Jeremy Allen Reynolds, 40, of Fontana Rd., Bryson City, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set.  

David Ray Sims, 44, of Grassy Creek Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with intoxicated and disruptive, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill. A secured bond of $50,000 was set. 

October 21

Chandice Dana Ingram,  30, of Golden Lane, Whittier, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. 

October 22

Henry Whiperwil Mahsetky, 37, of Fantasia Dr., was charged with resisting a public officer, assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Kenneth Dean Griffin, 52, of Old Number 4 Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for all other offenses. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Kiera Dianne Banegas, 36, of Walter Ashe Rd., was charged with assault and battery, failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, possession of paraphernalia not for marijuana, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $1,100 was set. 

Megan Dawn Wilnoty, 26, of Walter Ashe Rd., was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, all other offenses, misdemeanor larceny.  A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Anthony Travis Arrwood, 33, of Saint James Place, Cullowhee, was charged with trespass of real property. An unsecured bond was set. 

Kyle Jared Jackson, 26, of Old U.S. 221 A. Hwy,  Mooresboro, was charged with accessing computers. An unsecured bond of $3,500 was set. 

Christopher James Sawdo, 36, of Toohow Rd., Whittier, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay, possession of  counterfeit instrument. An unsecured bond of $10,000 was set. 

Tiffany Kaitlyn Johnson, 23, of Wright Creek Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession methamphetamine. No bond was set. 

Joey Gartrell Wheeler, 38, of Toohow Rd., Whittier, was charged with possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of drug paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession with intent to sell/deliver marijuana. possession of marijuana. No bond was set. 

October 23

Jet Twinn West, 18, of Saw Buck Farm Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. 

De’Audre Ray’qwon Jennings, 19, of Willie Rd., Orangeburge, S.C., was charged with possession of marijuana. No bond was set. 

Brian Keith McConnell, 43, of Windy Gap Rd., Franklin, was charged with failure to maintain lane control, carrying a concealed gun. No bond was set. 

Samuel Otter Sneed, 18, of Beetree Lane, Whittier, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay. No bond was set. 

Redmond Jack Lowe, 24, of Happy Valley Rd., was charged with first degree trespassing enter/remain. No bond was set. 

Tikisha Brook Hudgins, 38, of Hidden Harbor Rd., Myrtle Beach, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon. No bond was set. 

October 24

Christopher Allauid Deloach, 34, of University Inn, Cullowhee, was charged with assault by strangulation, assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Brian Lynn Brugman, 43, of Delong Rd., Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for shoplifting concealment of goods, misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $2,650 was set. 

October 25

Robert Mitchell Hoyle, 35, of U.S., Hwy 441, Whittier, was charged with disclose private images/adult. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. 

Shelby James Davis, 27, of Slab Town Rd., Cashiers, was charged with failure to appear for first degree trespass enter/remain, injury to real property, communicating threats. second degree trespass, injury to real property, breaking and entering, resisting a public officer, possession of stolen motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle. A secured bond of $10,750 was set. 

Alisha Kay Toineeta, 27, of Kallups Cold Mountain Rd., Cherokee, was charged with second degree trespass. A secured bond of $250 was set. 

Maleta Spring Scussel, 22, of Sutton Rd., Bryson City, was charged with resisting a public officer, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, failure to appear for possession of a stolen motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. 

Tanya Hall Tallent, 43, of Sunshine Acres, was charged with false imprisonment, assault inflicting serious injury. An unsecured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Matthew Paul Leonard, 39, of Dillsboro Rd., was charged with child support, possession of a stolen motor vehicle. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set.  

October 26

Floyd Nelson Woods, 45, of Shoal Creek Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, expired registration card/tag, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, resisting  a public officer, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver methamphetamine, conspire to sell/deliver heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver heroin, conspire to sell/deliver a schedule II controlled substance, communicating threats. A secured bond $65,000. 

Christopher Allauid Deloach, 34, of Rodeway Inn, Cullowhee, was charged with violation of court order. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Michael Dewaine Mungo, 27, of Sunset Dr., Monroe, was charged with failure to appear for give/lend/borrow license plate, drive/allow motor vehicle with no registration, expired registration card/tag, failure to wear seatbelt for driver, operate vehicle with no insurance, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, operate vehicle with no insurance, fictitious title/registration card/tag, speeding. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

October 27

Anthony Clifton McCall, 41, of Omega Ct., Tuckasegee, was charged with domestic violence protective order. No bond was set.
