The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests August 26 – September 8. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department 

September 4

Anita Rodriguez, 46, of Franklin, was charged with communicating threats. A $500 bond was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest. 

September 5

Darlena Carol Austin, 50, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for warrant service. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest. 

Jacob Lee Norris, 27, of Franklin, was charged with common law forgery, misdemeanor larceny. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest. 

Dalton Keith Bates, 26, of Franklin, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property, possession of firearm by convicted felon. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Austin Lee Connally, 32, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny after break/enter, obtaining property by false pretenses, possession of stolen goods/property, possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. A secured bond of $40,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Paul Floyd Schott IV, 32, of Franklin, was charged with fugitive out of state, breaking and entering a motor vehicle, larceny after break/enter, obtain property by false pretense, possession of stolen good/property, possession of firearm by convicted felon. A secured bond of $45,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

September 6

Crystal Lucille Ledbetter, 37, of Franklin, was charged with possession of stolen goods/property, resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

September 7

Paul Duncan Schiffhauer, 26, of Otto, child abuse causing serious bodily injury. A secured bond of $250,000 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest. 

Will Keller, 31, of Franklin, was charged with injury to personal property. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

Kimberly Wojtkoski, 31, of Franklin, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest. 

September 8

Jesus Gabriel Damien Mejia, 27, of Highlands, was charged with violating domestic violence protective order. No bond was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest. 

Crystal Lucille Ledbetter, 37, of Franklin, was charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest.

August 26

Rickie Lynn Antes II, 28, of Sloan St., was charged with driving while license revoked, display fictitious registration, fail to register motor vehicle, no insurance, no headlight on while wiper on, fail to apply for title. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. R. S. Dula made the arrest. 

August 27

Daniel Edward William Stanfield, 26, of Norris Rd., Otto, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, display revoked registration plate, no insurance. A secured bond of $1,200 was set. R. S. Dula made the arrest. 

August 31

Charles Patrick Ellenburg, 30, of Rolling Hills Dr., was charged with display revoked registration plate, issued an order for arrest for probation violation. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. R. S. Dula made the arrest. 

Richard Jeffery Vannucci, 43, of Franklin, was charged with larceny, trespass of real property. A secured bond of $400 was set. A secured bond of $400 was set. T. J. Lynn made the arrest. 

September 2

John Paul Carver, 42, of Level Lane, was charged with possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. M. A. Bingham made the arrest. 

September 3

David Brooks Jackson, 40, of Haymount Rd., Latta, S.C., was charged with all other offenses. A secured bond of $500 was set.  C. M. Evans made the arrest. 

Tyson Brooks Stager, 33, of River Rd., was charged with driving under the influence, hit and run, resisting officers.  A $4,000 bond was set

August 26

Scotty Lee Nelson, 36, of Union Hill Rd., Whittier, was charged with interfere with electronic monitoring device. An unsecured bond of $250 was set. 

Andrew Joseph Moore, 33, of Perley Hyatt Rd., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. No bond was set. 

Christopher Shaun Gaskins, 35, of Leatherwood Rd., was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. No bond was set. 

Cody Ryan Perry, 23, of Thornhill Dr., was charged with possession of counterfeit instrument/currency. No bond was set. 

August 27

Dillion Wayne McKay Watkins, 28, of Johns Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $15,000 was set.  

Hoa Duc Ha, 39, of Cambridge Dr., Atlanta, Ga., was charged with first degree trespassing enter/remain. No bond was set. 

John Donald Kinsey, 30, of Pine Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with misdemeanor larceny. No bond was set. 

August 28

Allison Leigh Hoyle, 37, of Cherry Wood Lane, Gastonia, was charged with failure to appear for felony possession of cocaine. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. 

Jose Luis Zalapa Silva, 22, of Wayah St., Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of 24,000 was set. 

Ian Richard Simpson, 50, of Secret Meadow Lane, Whittier, was charged with resisting a public officer. No bond was set. 

August 29

Karen Guadalupe Flores, 21, of Siler Rd., Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for unsupervised probation violation community service, possession of drug paraphernalia, drive/allow registration plate not displayed, no operators license. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. 

Timothy Colton Barron, 16, of Ferguson Rd., was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. 

James Tanner Barron, 22, of Ferguson Rd., was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. 

Roy Junior Brendle, 46, of Reservoir Dr., Waynesville, was charged with unauthorized use of motor vehicle, possession of stolen goods or property, larceny of property or goods, injury to real property. No bond was set.

Fernando Esau Alvarez-Blanco, of Arcadia Way, Glenville, was charged with failure to appear for break or entering, simple affray. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Cartman Xavier Cross-Dunn, 20, of Touchstone Way, was charged with statutory sexual offense with a child by an adult. A secured bond of $80,0000 was set. 

Jimmy Dale Campbelle, 30, of Edward Fowler Rd., Cashiers, was charged with failure to appear for no operators license/unsafe passing. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Travis Jamey Sizemore, 39, of Bumgarner Cemetery Rd., was charged with assault on a female. A secured bond of $25,000 was set. 

Michelle Lynn Rice, 48, of Charles Creek Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with failure to appear for probation violation. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

Kaitlyn Star Smith, 24, of Lee St., was charged with failure to appear for second degree trespassing. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

Sara Anne Kent, 26, of Forsythia Lane, Candler, was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine. No bond was set. 

Enoc Alvarado Hernandez, 18, of Siesta Lane, Tuckasegee, was charged with simple affray. No bond was set. 

August 31

Timothy Howard Cocia, 67, of Auroria Lane, was charged with intoxicated and disruptive. No bond was set. 

September 1

Richard Burgess Kinsey, 31, of Pine Creek Cullowhee, was charged with injury to personal property, first degree trespassing, possession of burglary tools. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Christopher Lavone Lackey, 24, of Bryson Branch, Bryson City, was issued a true bill of indictment for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession with intent to sell/deliver methamphetamine. An unsecured bond of $500 was set. 

Ashley Marie Saladin, 23, of Edward Fowler Rd., Cashiers, was charged with first degree trespassing. No bond was set.
