The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests Aug. 24 – Sept. 3. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County – Sheriff’s Department 

August 24

Michael Ray Wiggins, 44, of Franklin, was charged with injury to personal property, misdemeanor larceny, possession of stolen goods/property. An unsecured bond of $5,000 was set. James E. Crawford made the arrest. 

August 26

Brannon J. Parrish, 20, of Otto, was charged with larceny, possession of stolen goods/property, obtaining property by false property by false pretenses, driving while license revoked, driving vehicle not registered or titled, operation of vvehicle with no insurance. A secured bond of $7,500 was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Jeremy Edward Stepp, 27, of Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $3,500 was set. Joseph A. Raby made the arrest. 

Shena Dale Standingdeer, 37, of Cherokee, was charged with habitual larceny. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

August 27

Matt Dillian Laws, 24, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female, false imprisonment, interfere with emergency communication. No bond was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

August 28

Robert Lee Jewell, 32, of Athens, Ga., was charged with trafficking opium or heroin, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance. A secured bond of $1,500,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest. 

August 31

Jessica Henderson, 39, of Franklin, was charged with kidnapping/abduction, simple assault, violate domestic violation protective order. No bond was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest. 

September 1

Matthew Shuler, 25, of Franklin, was issued warrant service for offenses committed in jurisdiction. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. Joseph A. Raby made the arrest. 

Christopher James Davey, 22, of Franklin, was charged with misdeameanor larceny. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

Regina Crisp Lindley 42, of Franklin, was charged with driving under the influence, open container after consumption of alcohol, misdemeanor child abuse, driving left of center, child restraint. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. 

September 2

Jessica Henderson, 39, of Franklin, was charged with violating domestic violence protection order. No bond was Sgt. Jordan C. Sutton made the arrest. 

September 3

Daniel Kody Kilby, 27, of Franklin, was charged with violating a domestic violence protective order. No bond was set. Clay A. Saunders made the arrest. 

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

August 26

Christopher Todd Jones, 32, of Cloudy Valley Dr., was charged with driving while licnese revoked not impaired revocation. A $500 bond was set. 

Kenneth Edward Blume, 34, of Cruso Rd., Canton, was charged with failure to appear for fail to complete community service. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. 

Betty Laura Bell Dover, 55, of Toohow Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to report change of address. A secured bond of $10,000 was set.

Robert Allen Hooper,  43, of Keyhole Lane, Cullowhee, was  charged with failure to appear for flee to elude arrest. A $20,000 bond was set. 

Rebecca Elise Brown, 27, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for second degree trespassing. A secured bond of $250 was set. 

Kimberly Natasha Owle, 26, of Bigwitch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of counterfeit instrument/currency, failure to appear for simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor larcney. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. 

August 27

Morgan Page Penland, 24, of Speedwell Church Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with simple assault. No bond was set. 

Ryan James DeGeorge, 26, of Johnson Court, Forney, Texas, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

David Donnie Luker, 42, of Walnut Cove Rd., Tuckasegee, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. 

Anthony Travis Arrwood, 33, of Saint James Place, Cullowhee, was charged with carrying a concealed weapon, failure to appear for shoplifting concealment of goods. A secured bond of $500 was set. 

Tonya Lynn Maney, 30, of A Model Dr., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for conspire to commit felony larceny, possesson of stolen goods/property. A secured bond of $10,000 was set. 

Jamison Lawrence Lassiter, 36, of Garnett Rd., was charged with failure to appear for breaking or entering. A secured bond of $2,000 was set. 

Bryan Aaron Berryman, 50, of Ford St., Robbinsville, was charged with failure to appear for larceny after breaking or entering, misdemeanor larceny for Cherokee County. A secured bond of $15,000 was set. 

Saith David Cucumber, 24, of Lamp Lighter Lane, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. 

Dustin Wade Walker, 23, of Armour Rd., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for domestic violence protective order violation. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

Kimberly Natasha Owle, 26, of Bigwitch Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor probation violation out of county.  A secured bond of $5,000 was set. 

August 28

Jere Keith Queen, 58, of Curich Lane, Waynesville, was charged with cyberstalking, communicating threats, domestic violence protection order violation. No bond was set. 

August 31

William Joseph Conner, 29, of Azalea Motel, was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor larceny, assault on a female, domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set.
