The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests July 10 – 18. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County  Sheriff’s Department

July 10

Michael Kevin Young, 42, of Franklin, was charged with larceny, possessing/concealing stolen property. An unsecured bond of $3,000 was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest.

July 11

Christina Rena Odom, 34, of Franklin, was charged with harboring an escapee felony. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest.

Anthony Paul Arnold, 37, of Franklin, was charged with resisting a public officer, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, driving while license revoked, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, transporting methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, flee/elude arrest with a motor vehicle, injury to personal property. A secured bond of $500,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

Paige Michelle Carpenter, 30, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

July 12

Autumn Renae Sanders, 26, of Franklin, was charged with driving while intoxicated for alcohol and/or drugs, left of center. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. William D. Stamey made the arrest.

John Lyman Boyce, 51, of Franklin, was charged with indecent liberties with a child. A secured bond of $20,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

July 13

Kenneth Judson Gibson Sr., 48, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, operate a vehicle with no insurance, canceled/revoked/suspended certificate/tag, driving/allow motor vehicle with no registration, fictitious/altered title/registration card/tag, expired/no inspection, failure to wear seat belt for driver, unsafe tires. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Michael Charles Spear, 45, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for driving while intoxicated, driving while license revoked impaired revocation, possession of open container/consume alcohol in passenger area, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A secured bond of $7,500. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Nicholas Cole Tyson, 19, of Colorado Springs Colo., was charged with misdemeanor probation violation. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Bryan W. Mitchell made the arrest.

July 14

Earl Roger Gibson, 64, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.

Kelsey Leeann Scruggs, 18, of Franklin, was charged with simple physical assault. An unsecured bond of $2,000 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.

July 16

Robert Charles Sanders, 37, of Franklin, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Thomas Tenhagen made the arrest.

July 17

Cindy Poole Waller, 41, of Franklin, was charged with injury to personal property, breaking and entering, larceny after break/enter, possessing/concealing stolen property. A secured bond of $17,000 was set. Audrey Parrish made the arrest.

Caleb Scott Tallent, 27, of Franklin, was charged with driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $500 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

July 10

Shena Dale Standingdeer, 35, of Qualla Town Rd., Whittier, was charged with larceny, possession/display fictitious/canceled/revoked/suspended/altered drivers license, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation based, driving while impaired. A $27,500 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

Danny Patrick Phillips, 57, of Fort Wilderness Rd., Whittier, was charged with trespassing, communicating threats. A $500 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest.

Bethany Caroline Deitz, 22, of Maple St., was charged with larceny after breaking and entering, breaking and entering forcible. A $10,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Aiken made the arrest.

Diane Baker, of Fort Wilderness Campground, Whittier, was charged with second degree trespass, communicating threats. A $500 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

July 11

Joshua Dwayne Potts, 35, of Browning Branch Rd., Waynesville, was issued and order for arrest. A $2,000 bond was set. Dray E. Holland made the arrest.

Gregory Lilias Smith, 26, of Washington Creek Rd., Cherokee, was charged with possession of heroin. A $5,000 bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest.

Lisa Ann Franks, 38, of North End St., Asheville, was issued a child support purge. A $300 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest.

Frank Anthony Mercado, 31, of Bellview Rd., Franklin, was charged with failure to appear on a felony. A $25,000 bond was set. Harold D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Brian Elliott Teesateski, 41, of Massey Branch Rd., Robbinsville, was charged with failure to appear. A $1,000 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.

Jeremy Lee Gunter, 32, of Whirlwind Dr., Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for possession of stolen goods/property. A $1,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

July 12

Charlie John Howard, 23, of Old Cullowhee Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a stolen motor vehicle. A $7,500 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest.

July 13

Michael Lynn Fry, 40, of Beagle Rd., Myerstown, Pa., was charged with false report to police station. No bond was set. Rollie L. James, III made the arrest.

Jaqueline Lorlie Davis, 49, of Mica Ridge, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine. A $7,500 bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest.

July 14

Anthony Louis Grimes, 28, of Hornbuckle Creek, Cherokee, was charged with felony probation violation. A $10,000 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.

Cornelious Ashe, 25, of Skyland Dr., was charged with conspiracy to commit felony larceny, possession of a stolen motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle, break or enter a motor vehicle. A $10,000 bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest.

July 15

Jeremy Noah Lane, 34, of Fort Wilderness Campground, Whittier, was charged with interfering with emergency communications. A $2,500 bond was set. Conner L. Wilson made the arrest.

Robert Jeffery Bonham, 53, of Savannaah Dr., was charged with failure to appear for trespassing, violation of unsupervised probation, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A $750 bond was set. Ridge A. Parris made the arrest.

July 16

Trang Vu, 31, of Shelby Ln., Bristol, Tenn., was charged with second degree trespass. No bond was set. Dray E. Holland made the arrest.
