The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests June 12 – 18. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

June 12

Dallas Giles Dishman, 24, of Franklin, was charged with possessing/concealing weapons. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.

June 13

Andrea Michelle Cochran, 33, of Franklin, was charged with drunk and disruptive. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. Stephanie Robbins made the arrest.

Darryl Thomas Smith, 62, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and entering. An unsecured bond of $2,500 was set. Nick Lofthouse made the arrest.

June 15

Samantha Lynn Ledford, 26, of Franklin, was charged with conspiracy to sell and deliver heroin, conspire to traffic opium/heroin, trafficking opium or heroin, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, trafficking opium or heroin. A secured bond of $500,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Derry Lashawn Brewer, 32, of Decatur, Ga., was charged with conspiracy to sell and deliver heroin, conspire traffic opium/heroin, trafficking opium or heroin, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, trafficking opium or heroin. A secured bond of $505,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Ernest Orlando  Lee, 53, of Decatur, Ga., was charged with conspiracy to sell and deliver heroin, conspire traffic opium/heroin, trafficking opium or heroin, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, trafficking opium or heroin. A secured bond of $500,000 was set. Mike Langley Sr. made the arrest.

Kyle Jaycob Hanson, 22, of Franklin, was charged with probation violations. A secured bond of $6,000 was set. Jonathan Phillips made the arrest.

June 16

Ryan Marcus Sharrett, 33, of Franklin, was charged with resist/obstruct/delay law enforcement officer, fictitious information to officer, cyberstalking, child support enforcement contempt, failure to appear for driving while impaired, driving while license revoked  impaired revocation, first degree trespassing, assault and battery, injury to personal property. A secured bond of $24,421 was set.  William D. Stamey made the arrest.

June 17

Earl David Blanton, 62, of Franklin, was charged with driving while intoxicated for alcohol and/or drugs. A secured bond of $500 was set. David F. Head made the arrest.

June 18

Joseph James Lonbons, 37, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for driving while intoxicated not impaired revocation. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest.

Kristopher Erik Prince, 24, of Franklin, was charged with simple physical assault on a female, assault with a deadly weapon, criminal damage to property for vandalism. No bond was set. Michael R. Hollifield made the arrest.

June 12

Charles Benson Grindstaff, 66, of Franklin, was charged with breaking and entering, injury to personal property, trespassing. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Erica Nicole Nicholson, 26, of Chattahoochee Ln., was charged with misdemeanor larceny, stolen property. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Christy M. Evans made the arrest.

Melody Lynne Copeland, 32, of Roberts Rd., was charged with driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $1,000 was set Dwayne S. Cabe made the arrest.

Alcia Ann Ledford, 34, of Olive Hill Rd., was charge with failure to appear. A secured bond of $500 was set. Timothy J. Lynn made the arrest.

Brian Keith Curtis, 27, of Trimont Trail, Franklin, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A secured bond of $3,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Joan Beck Hobbs, 48, of Laurel St., Highlands, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia. A $3,000 bond was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

Jessy Dakota Beaver, 23, of Roberts Rd., was charged with driving while license revoked. A secured bond of $1,000 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

June 12

Buddy Ray Price, 35, of Jon Quill Dr., was charged with escape from custody or resist arrest. A $200 bond was set. Jesse L. Aiken made the arrest.

Geoffrey Thomas McMahan, 34, of Tilly Creek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with assault on a female, assault by strangulation. No bond was set. Dray E. Holland made the arrest.

Tyler Dale Fisher, 19, of Guardian Angel Ridge, Tuckasegee, was charged with possessing stolen goods/property, possess of a stolen motor vehicle, larceny of a motor vehicle, larceny, first degree burglary.  A $100,000 bond was set. Kyle P. Efird made the arrest.

Kayla Rhayne Ross, 24, Thorpe Dr., Tuckaseegee, was charged with second degree trespassing, simple assault. a $1,500 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest.

Henry Whiperwil Mahsetky, 35, of Big Cove Rd., Cherokee, was charged with assault on a female. No bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.

Sheyenne Victoria McClelan, 17, of Pee Wee Branch, was charged with speed competition for failure to pay monies. A $2,000 bond was set. Robert D. Nicholson made the arrest.

Monica Elise Hernandez, 34, of Smoke House Rd., Cashiers, was charged with expired/no inspection, operate vehicle with no insurance,  drive/allow motor vehicle with no registration, fictitious tag, fictitious information to officer, failure to carry valid driver’s license. Justin Alan Holmes, 31, of Pinecreek Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for misdemeanor probation,  larceny after breaking and entering, shoplifting. A $35,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Johnny William Mathes, 40, of Yellow Mountain Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, assault on a female. A $10,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Aiken made the arrest.

Francis Elaine Arkansas, 46, of Dynasty Rd., Whittier, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. A $1,000 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest.

Jordon Leigh Wolfe, 22, of Keener Rd., Cherokee, was charged with failure to appear for driving while  license revoked not impaired revocation. A $250 bond was set. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest.

Debra M. Guthrie, 24, of Old VFW Rd., Whittier, was charged with possessing/concealing stolen property, fraud for obtaining money/property by false pretense. A $5,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

Nadine Adiel Tramper, 36, of Odyssey Dr., was charged with drug paraphernalia. A $1,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Aiken made the arrest.

Doretha P. Carson, of Summerdale Ln., Newton, was charged with common law forgery. A $10,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Aiken made the arrest.

Lehua Joan Walkingstick, 38, of River Park, Cullowhee, was charged with failure to appear for driving left of center, driving while intoxicated not impaired revocation. Andrew J. Parker made the arrest.

Billy Joe Hornback, 47, of Longbow Ln., Whittier, was charge with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Brandon D. Hooper made the arrest.

Randall Hoyt Oshields, 21, of Snow Bird Ln., Brevard, was charged with failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia, possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz. A $250 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Gary Michael Motelione, 57, of Peaceful Balley Trail, Franklin, was charge with impeding traffic. No bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Blair Scott Potter, 55, of Walnut Creek Rd., was charged with failure to appear for driving while intoxicated, reckless driving to endanger, failure to wear seatbelt. A $2,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Timothy Scott Lawrence, 48, of Arcola Dr., Cullowhee, was charged with possession of marijuana up to 1/2 oz, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a schedule II controlled substance. A $5,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

Sasha Lacinda Porter, 55, of Cross Creek Circle, was charged with trafficking in marijuana, manufacture marijuana, maintaining a vehicle/dwelling/place for a controlled substance, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver, possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A $75,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Carlos Granados, 25, of Webster Rd., was charged with failure to appear for driving while licensed revoked. Josh A. Yopp made the arrest.

Cody Dillon Davis, 25, of Carolina Sunset View, was charged with possession/concealing stolen property, felony larceny, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle forcible. A $15,000 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.

Sammi Joe Murray, 30, of Carolina Sunset View, was charged with possessing/concealing stolen property, felony larceny, breaking and entering of a motor vehicle forcible. A $15,000 bond was set. Kenneth D. Woodring made the arrest.
