The Macon County Sheriff’s Department, Franklin Police Department or Jackson County Sheriff’s Department made the following arrests November 6 – 12. All suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Macon County Sheriff’s Department

November 7

Dallas Giles Dishman, 24, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked, possession of methamphetamine, no operator license, possession of heroin, possession with intent to manufacture/sell/distribute methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine, carrying a concealed gun. A $62,800 bond was set. David Blanton made the arrest.

November 8

Dallas Giles Dishman, 24, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, feckless Driving with wanton disregard, texting violation motor vehicle. A $2,000 bond was set. Mathew W. Bowman made the arrest.

November 10

Christopher Mark Townsend, 27, of Franklin, was charged with failure to appear for criminal summons or citation, possession of a controlled substance on prison/jail premises, possession of methamphetamine. A secured bond of $8,500 was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

November 11

Emiliano Hernandez-Chavez, 35, of Highlands, was charged with drug violations. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Brian W. Mitchell made the arrest.

November 12

Samuel Roberds Bennet, 46, of Highlands was charged with assault on a female, all other offenses. No bond was set. James E. Crawford III made the arrest.

November 14

Nicona Jo Wachenschwanz, 27, of Nelsonville, Ohio, was charged with fugitive out of state for failure to appear for illegal conveyance of drugs, fictitious information to officer. A secured bond of $10,500 was set. Matthew W. Bowman made the arrest.

Franklin Police Department

November 6

Amber Nicole Stover, 30, of Franklin, was charged with possessing a schedule II controlled substance. A secured bond of $5,000 was set. Elija D. Kirkland made the arrest.

November 8

Rickie Lee Keener, 58, of Kingwood Circle, was charged with possession of methamphetamine, paraphernalia possessing/concealing. A secured bond of $2,500 was set. Jonathan C. Bean made the arrest.

November 9

Anthony Christopher Beaver, 21, of Lloyd Stewart Lane, was issued a warrant for arrest for larceny. A secured bond of $16,500 was set. Randy S. Dula made the arrest.

November 10

Nathan Chester Vanderlaan, 39, of Ford Rd., Warne, was charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, possession of a IV controlled substance, possess of less than 1/2 oz of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana paraphernalia, defeat anti theft device, concealment of goods. A secured bond of $7,000 was set. Randy S. Dula made the arrest.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Department

November 6

Stephanie Lee Hughes, 29, of Teige Cove Rd., Whittier, was charged with forgery of instrument, uttering a forged endorsement, obtain property by false pretense. A $10,000 bond was set. Rollie L. James III made the arrest.

Jason Christopher Webster, 41, of Cats Paw Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with domestic violence protective order violation. No bond was set. Jesse L Henkel made the arrest.

Amanda Marie Atkins, 37, of Timbuktu Rd., was charged with communicating threats. A $500 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

Kimberly Brock Shook, 47, of Old Cullowhee Rd., Cullowhee, was charged with larceny by an employee. A $5,000 bond was set. Rollie L. James made the arrest.

November 7

Daniel Loyd Morrison, 33, of Paul Cooper Dr., Whittier, was issued a fugitive warrant/extradition from another state. A $10,000 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest.

Brandon Heath Evans, 37, of Streater Rd., was charged with trespassing, issued an order for arrest for possession of drug paraphernalia not for marijuana, cover or disguise vehicle registration plate, carrying a concealed weapon, simple possession of a IV controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, injury to personal property, assault with a deadly weapon with a minor present. A $15,000 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

James Allen Ledford, 51, of Acree Dr., Cherokee, was charged with possession/display altered/fictitious/revoked drivers license, driving while license revoked not impaired revocation, simple possession of a schedule II controlled substance. A $1,500 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

Anthony Caleb Nicholson, 29, of U.S. 74 E., was issued an order for arrest for communicating threats. A $1,500 bond was set. Robert E. Porter made the arrest.

November 8

Kimberly Ann Buchanan, 46, of Dalton Rd., was charged with communicating threats. A $1,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Amos Harvey Jones, 65, of Cherry Wood Lane, Highlands, was charged with failure to appear for larceny of ginseng. A $1,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman made the arrest.

Nicholas James Zoda, 27, of Morgan Rd., Kelly, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon. A $1,000 bond was set. Sean K. Bryson made the arrest.

November 9

Hilton Randall Wescott, 26, of Simmons Lane, Pollocksville, was charged with aggressive driving, speeding. A $1,1200 bond was set. Celestine A. Holloman  made the arrest.

Blake Pearson Henry, 23, of Leatherwood Rd., was charged with parole and probation violations. A $5,000 bond was set. Celestine A. Holoman made the arrest.

Justin James Wikle, 31, of Nannys Lane, was charged with child support, misdemeanor probation violation, solicit to possess methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine. A $10,500 bond was set. Andrew W. Bennett made the arrest.

November 10

Oliver Otter, 47, of Whittier, was charged with failure to appear for driving while intoxicated. A $7,500 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest.

Lewis Dalton Foley, 20, of Suncoast Dr., North Fort Myers, Fla., was charged with resist/obstruct/delay, breaking and entering, fugitive from another state.  A $20,000 bond was set. Stephen B. Watson made the arrest.

Jaylen Khalil Blocker, 17, of Woodbury Lane, was charged with resisting a public officer, failure to appear for possession of marijuana paraphernalia, simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, larceny. A $1,000 bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest.

Gene Alan Boughey, 62, of Lonely Mountain Dr., Sapphire, was charged with assault on a female. A $2,000 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest.

November 11

Justin Paige Mathis, 29, of Little Savannah Rd., was charged with resisting, delaying or obstructing an officer. No bond was set. Jesse L. Henkel made the arrest.

James Nathan Ritchie, 32, of Mockingbird Lane, was charged with failure to appear for carrying a concealed weapon, possession of drug paraphernalia. A $100 bond was set. William K. Davis made the arrest.

Sean Taylor Telfer, 28, of Ramsey Rd., Asheville, was charged with failure to appear for simple possession of a schedule VI controlled substance, possession of marijuana paraphernalia. A $1,000 bond was set. William M. Hawkins made the arrest.
