The Town of Franklin honored our nation’s Independence Day with its traditional parade down Main Street, free watermelon and popcorn on the square, and a water slide and inflatables for the kids. Residents and visitors alike adorned with their reds, whites and blues, lined Main Street, waving American flags and enjoying the celebration. A Mr. & Ms. Firecracker contest along with a Patriotic Pet contest rounded out the festivities.
