A head on collision occurred Wednesday, at 3:41 p.m., on Siler Rd. A 2014 Chevrolet driven by Michelle Wolfe Cook of Franklin was traveling East on Siler Rd., Amy Marie Carter of Franklin was driving a 2006 Kia traveling West on Siler Rd. Cook’s vehicle crossed the centerline and struck Carter’s car head on. Both vehicles came to rest facing west. Multiple ambulances were dispatched to the scene and several accident victims were transported to Angel Medical Center. Cook was charged with left of center and failure to maintain lane control. Macon County E.M.S. and Franklin Fire Dept. responded to the scene. State Highway Patrol Officer C.N. Barker was the investigating officer.
