Teen Challenge hosting ‘Come and See’ event


On Saturday, Oct. 17, Teen Challenge of The Smokies will be open to the public for a public preview of the ministry plans for the camp facility.

Executive Director Mike Barres, the staff and volunteers will host a program and open house beginning at 4p.m.

The Addiction Recovery Ministry site is on the Camp Cullasaja Campground off Highlands Road.

The program will be held in the assembly hall. It will include live music, testimonies, a slide show and a short talk about the future goals and plans for Teen Challenge of the Smokies. Following the presentation, refreshments will be served in the cafeteria. Afterward, all attendees are invited and encouraged to tour all the buildings and property of the facility.
